The Aileron will go UP on the wing that you turn towards,and the opposite (DOWN) on the wing that lifts.

The aileron that 'Blocks' the air makes more lift on that surface of the wind and creates a rolling effect.

You are confused between Rudders and Ailerons.

Aircraft dont turn with their rudders primarily.
