Well it's clear that the performance of Automatic by SPEED doesn't match Hikaru's original, but I think when Hiroko and Eriko were singing individual lines they did a good job- it was when they were harmonizing that it didn't quite work. But SPEED and the combination of Hiroko and Eriko's voices have produced some of the finest moments in pop music.
i thought they sang reasonably well....though i still prefer utada version. If I ask utada to sing one of SPEED song, she'll sound something like this, who knows.

Wow.....a disaster....thats like allowing ayumi hamasaki to sing deep river.....imagine what that would sound like.....nobody has a voice like utada
