@cjacja21 yes this is the first remixed album issued in 1997 I think...I was in France incidentally that time so I could see the enthusiasm of all French fans from their beloved Dalida´s "comeback", some reactions were negative but I think it was very good idea this remix....Natali
@V6410590 it a phrase you say welcoming people who come from a travel or from somewhere far, the song simply talks about Egyptians suffering outside their homeland, the homesickness, they are satisfied with the life, if they are poor or rich doesn't matter, and how brilliant they are in war and peace.
Thanks Natali for the info, by the way last nigth i did my homework and find out a lot about Dalida, very interesting live but very tragic ending...fell soffy for her :(
I don´t like especiallly and only Dalida - I love many cultures and different styles. But French and Arabian music are very close to me so I have pretty big collection of both ones. Happy Easter! Natali
Dalida (17 January 1933 3 May 1987) was an Egyptian-Italian singer born and grown up in Egypt who lived most of her life in France. She received 55 gold records and was the first singer to receive a diamond disc. She was really amazing, beautiful woman, perfect singer...I have almost all her CD´s.Love. Natali
Натуся! Супер!!!!!! 100 лет не слышала эту песню и Далиду. Она была и остается супер-звездой, и не только французской, но и мировой. Моё мнение.Фото и виды на них - классные.Жизнь! Я люблю камни, глину, ткачество, всё, что сделано руками человека.И за тебя радостно-светлое видео!
Which album was this taken from? Is it one of the remix albums?

que quiere decir Salma ya Salama?
What does Salma ya Salama mean?
Tk u
V6410590 2 years ago
I think "salama" means in Islam to be resigned and humble. Ya = young adult.
But am not sure...to be honest I know only some basical Arabic words, despite of the fact I love this language....
DANILISHINA 2 years ago
salama in Arabic means "safe"
"rohne we geena bessalama" means we gone and went safely and its an Arabian Egyptian expression
bentmasr44 2 years ago
and "ya" is a way 2 call some one,4 example Richard when we call him in Arabic we say ya Richard
bentmasr44 2 years ago
@DANILISHINA lol that is completely wrong, salama means safety and ya is what you use before calling someone/something
