Awesome. I love how it sounds while the airplanes are passing by. (or is that an insect?) Just have one question... In order to get the chromatic scale, don't you just need to buy 2 hangs (one semitone apart), for example if you got a C major so CDEFGABC - and then C# major, so C#D#E#F#G#A#B#C#. I'm not even sure if they make sharp tunings...but if anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

Sounds like everybody wants one of these hang drums. That now includes me. What a wonderfully low timbre on yours. What is the tuning. I know they are tunes in a pentatonic scale but what major or minor scale is it based on? My wife is a modern percussionist but has been leaning toward more of the traditional and ancient instruments and this one would be a great birthday gift for her.

Hey, i read the info on the side of the vid. Youre style is not erratic! Its freeform. But maybe if you wanted to, you could practise to a metronome, to practise youre timing, so that if you want to play with other people youre pulse or beat is steadier. Peace :) PS is this the first instrument you have played?

How many octaves can you get out of one of those? Does it play every note?

You have to have at least 3 to get a full chromatic scale. There are only 8-9 notes per instrument. Not enough to get the full 12 key chromatic scale. However, I do have a low D and a high D, a low A and a high A. So I do have an octave range of sorts.
