Any advice of how I should take care of my baby hamsters? I'm thinking of putting them in my turtles old tank after its 3 weeks old, I have like 9 or 10 of them including the mother, plus the cage is REALLY SMALL and I want the mother and her babies to live in a big environment, I had the father hamster for 1 year and half, but it died because it had blood in its urine, so I hoping to improve the lives of these hamsters first, but I'm short on cash. Don't know what to do put any advice you have

@Doctorhamsterful I think any container with enough ventilation is ok. Just make sure your hamsters have water, food, a sand bathroom and something they can tear to make their bed warm (like paper). However I believe very soon ur baby hamsters will have a fight against each other and eventually they will give birth to new babies if you don't separate them.

@Doctorhamsterful Hamsters are highly territorial, so you're going to have to fork out for 10 cages or sell a few, a pet shop might take them or just ask friends or facebook. Make sure they have enough room and food and clean the cage once a week, putting a empty jam jar in there would help with hygiene as you can train them to pee in it. Have fun! XD
