Man, I live by a dogfish restaurant and multiple retailers that sell dogfish head beer and I haven't been able to get any in the 3 years I've lived in the area.

Are you kidding me ? This is 21% alcohol by volume. I watch girls at the bar down rows of shots which are at 40% alcohol by volume. I've watched a guy chug a fifth of JD before. Admittedly that was a terrible idea, but the idea that you could actually pass out donig this, or you needed to be hooked up to a IV in is beyond me.

sickpuppy swears by this beer all the time. I had it recently with less alcohol than when I did that chug and I have to say I enjoyed it. Had a second bottle and totally different profile. I'd hate to say its hit or miss when I have to pay $11 a bottle but it really is.

Try out Lagunitas or Stone. I find all there beers better than Dogfish. It's just a personal thing. There's something weird about a lot of DFH beers. I find them more along the lines of wine. Yes, bought 1 bottle of 120 minute dogfish IPA - it was nasty. Tasted like candy sugar sweet wine with hops. Want my ten bucks back. Also the 60 minute dogfish tastes like stale bison piss. But the 90 minute was good. Growing up drinking budweiser and thinking all beer was the same, I now wonder, in hindsight, why the heck anyone can justify drinking miller light, when there are so many exotic brews of all stripes to be had.

I manage a beer store in central pa and we could only get 2 cases of d.f.h 120 and sold both to the same gentleman. we charged $153 per case ($6.38 per bottle) out the door. we also carry aprihop..60min & 90min..60 is by far the best seller though.. f.y.i the bottle says to age it up to 10 years..good luck with that..

Great video, I'm a big fan of my local brewer, Dogfish, and the 120 is the grand daddy of them all. Brave sole chugging that, I can barley gulp it down lol. Now they do have 2 close to the 120 IPA; Raison D'Extra and the World Wide Stout are both similar to the 120. If you can find it, good luck.

In PA I've seen it go from 10-20 per bottle pending on where you're at. Pittsburgh has it for 10-11 at most bars. It's worth it at least once but I'd never pay more than $11 for a 12oz bottle

I think your next chug should be a 750ml bottle of Cantillon Gueuze Lambic. It's only around 5% abv, but it's a very sour beer and one that would be tough to chug. Would be interesting to see if you could do it.
