I know on Verizon, it comes with the basic level service and now there is this thing where Funimation is offering extra shows through FIOS if you purchase them but im not sure if it will come as a extra channel. Try checking the Funimation site and Comcast to see where its offered. Im sure you can get it on comcast. There are some good shows on their. Ill check for u as well.

They're making a new movie trilogy, Evangelion Rebuild, and have released 2 of the movies now. At face value it looks like a remake of the old series, but it's really a sequel. It's hard to explain why but I'd advise watching the TV show before the new movies

A good reason why Eva is considered one the popular anime series ever made (or the greatest, according to some). Anyone with the will to come back can come back. We only ever see Asuka and Shinji but for all we know there might be small pockets of humans reemerging around the world. I like to believe that as I like to think that there are people with stronger mental individuality than Asuka and Shinji. so its a hopeful one ~~

this anime is beautiful overall in the art and the plot, the emotional depth of the characters, Evangelion is far from the normal and that's what's so good about it, you don't always have to follow the rules to make a great anime. this defines originality ~~
@Sh4dowOfD34th No its not. Sure the animation in rebuild is some of the best ever created but the characters themselves are fer less developed which hurts its story overall. Rebuild 2.22 changed many things it shouldent have (like Asuka's entrance and the battle in the sea)
@Babylauncher3000 Well it's true that the characters aren't as developed in the series I think that's because they don't have as much time in a movie as they do in a TV series. I was also unsure about them changing so many things for the second movie but I've grown to like it. It is it's own story and it would be kind of lame if it just followed the original series until the until the very end.

The original is as said the "original" but the rebuild isnt a remake but rather a new telling of the story. 3.33 will be nothing like the original series and will be completely independent of the original story. @Babylauncher3000 I understand where you're coming from, but you judging the characterization in Rebuild is like judging the characterization from the original after only having watched up to episode 15. All of the character's motivation's hadn't been fully explored/explained at that point, and Rebuild is at the same point in series in respect to that. At least wait for the Rebuild series to be completed before you hand out heavy-handed judgments like that ;P

@NarutoLoverForever4 Depends on your opinion. The series is heavy on the angst, and this simply increases by about episode 19 or so.
For a mecha anime, it is fairly slow, more focusing on the characters, but in the end it's worth it.

this anime is beautiful overall in the art and the plot, the emotional depth of the characters, Evangelion is far from the normal and that's what's so good about it, you don't always have to follow the rules to make a great anime. this defines originality ~~

@Sh4dowOfD34th No its not. Sure the animation in rebuild is some of the best ever created but the characters themselves are fer less developed which hurts its story overall. Rebuild 2.22 changed many things it shouldent have (like Asuka's entrance and the battle in the sea)

@Babylauncher3000 Well it's true that the characters aren't as developed in the series I think that's because they don't have as much time in a movie as they do in a TV series. I was also unsure about them changing so many things for the second movie but I've grown to like it. It is it's own story and it would be kind of lame if it just followed the original series until the until the very end.

@Babylauncher3000 You shouldnt really see the original and rebuild as the one and same thing... The original is as said the "original" but the rebuild isnt a remake but rather a new telling of the story. 3.33 will be nothing like the original series and will be completely independent of the original story. Can't wait for the 3rd movie be it the final or not :D

@Babylauncher3000 I understand where you're coming from, but you judging the characterization in Rebuild is like judging the characterization from the original after only having watched up to episode 15. All of the character's motivation's hadn't been fully explored/explained at that point, and Rebuild is at the same point in series in respect to that. At least wait for the Rebuild series to be completed before you hand out heavy-handed judgments like that ;P

@Zero4ph "IUnexpected" doesn't necessarily mean "good". TBH, I stopped watching as soon as 2.0 ended. My brother doesn't even like the original show and he thought the "new stuff" was just strange...
Whatever makes GAINAX money. I'm waiting on Gundam Unicorn releases, which ironically, feels more like an EVA Rebuild. Strange times.

Besides, how will others remember you? As the person that chickened out of life? Don't become like Shinji. You might tell yourself you have no reason to live, but you probably do. You only have one life. Don't waste it.
