  • Great movie...I just can't get enough!!!

    Thanks for posting.

  • I love Mrs.McLintock's face when she saw Violet.

  • to pretorious700. You're right about the stereotypes being shown, but you also know that hollywood is famous for doing just that. blitzspeer, thanks once again for showing the world how undereducated and tolerate we americans are. Do you not watch the news? things you accuse pretorious of is on the news in our own country almost every night.

can't we just sit back and watch the movie and learn to live together. Until we do, we're no better than anybody else. Enjoy a great comedy western folks

  • Pretorious700 is from Tailand and knows more about our west than we American's do.I say to this person go back to eating your bug's fish head's and rice and don't comment what you don't know a damn thing about.Nothing like some fish headed gook knowing so much. They do know about heroin and kiddie porn, rape ,molestation, murder and everything inheritely wrong.

  • wow, this old film leaves no stereotypical stone unturned

  • Lem- " Mr. Mac., what does that word "unprepossing mean?"

Mclintock- "I was called that once Lem. Looked it up in the dictionary. Best you dont know what it means."

    Lem- "Hmmm. Thank you."

    great qoutes

  • I always liked John Wayne because he was always the same thing in every film he made: Hard.

It was kind of like John Wayne refused to compromise on anything. I guess that's why he always seemed larger than life to me.

  • Oh God I miss John Wayne!!! he was the greatest American that ever lived as far as I am concerned.....oh if we had men like this today, well of course their is my Father, but I mean men on screen you could be proud of, his B-day is this weekend, hopefully TCM will do a tribute.... God bless him and what he did for us, and God help these United States of America............L.

  • What part is the classic fight scene in?

Ya know, where John Wayne says..."Pardner, you've caused a lot of trouble, could've gotten somebody killed and someone oughta belt you in the mouth....but I won't, I won't.....the hell I won't" and then BOOM...(Lol).

  • Pilgrim you've caused alot of trouble this morning is in scene 5

  • I love this movie. I love very much Maureen attitude

  • Yvonne DeCarlo was very beautiful, she gave Maureen O'Hara a run for her money as the prettiest actress in this film!

  • @ruadhrose ,no she didn,t!!!

  • THAT IRISH TEMPER!

  • Oh, I don't know... my mother is just like this character -- no exaggeration! And she's Danish (viking). A gorgeous, hateful, superior, bossy, unpleasable tyrant! Grrrrrr! I hear that Maureen was a nice person in reality, thank goodness.

  • thanks tuber....I admired the duke as a youth. the epitomy of male confidence: hard and soft at the same time. Tough and peaceloving

  • i agree. with all of these sissies on tv, i appreciate manhood.
