SOAD is the first band I truly loved.  I have been listening to their music for 6 years and I never got tired of them. I have always loved bands that were different but great. A lot of their songs are about the Armenian genocide in Turkey around the time of WWI for those who are wondering, but not all of them. I read on their fb page that they are gonna start doing some shows together again, and I hope they might even start writing some more material soon. I will never get bored of them.

The possibility of them getting back together was 50/50, now its more like 65/35. Though I don't think music tastes would affect that, in fact it might actually strengthen their music because they could come up with some more original thoughts. While they differ in styles (Serj and Scars). You can find common ground in the meaning of the lyrics. I think it's still up for grabs on whether they'll rejoin. Though I agree it become more doubtful each passing year.
