I think you're right at some point, but you forget the very popular idole that Bocca is in his country. He's not just a dancer : he's a pop star. So he acts like one. He never took the finale bow in a robe at the MET, of course.

I think that this is disgusting. It's a shame that such an amazing and world-class ballerina like Alina Cojocaru who respects her art has to dance with a man who is a great dancer, but looks at the profession with such goofiness. Taking the final bow with a beer is one thing, but taking the final bow in booties and a robe is another.
