This AMV tried extremely hard to impress me. The effort was there, plain as day. But it stubbornly refused to be perfect. Video effects are like perfume. A subtle touch of scent completes the image but too much people start holding their noses. Take out most of the color flashes and replace ALL those line effects and then you've got something to show off.

Actually, no offense, but i agree with the "not perfect" remark. IMO, you over synced it too much. Also, i didn't really liket he flashing colors to me it doesnt really fit the mood well. You might have wanted to make it more subtle. but overall i really did enjoy it. One of the better ones on Youtube.

My role model is Nostromo. He uses lots of openings in his AMVs too. The reason is because openings has the best quality and camera angles from the anime. They invest time and money into their openings. :) It's nicer to use them, because they are prettier. ^^
