re: cancer & diabetes victims- I live in England & I don't know anyone with diabetes or cancer who have travelled to the US to get treated. Franks is misleading the audience by generalizing. In fact cancer survival rates here are good and only a tiny minority will go to the US. for treatment.
Good point! Plus, since when have Americans looked to the Federal Government to solve each real and imagined (or conjured) problem? I trust the States much more than the Feds.
Why is it that the small portion of health care that is completely free of government intervention and private insurance (ie: elective cosmetic surgery or lasik) why has this area of healthcare seen lower costs and increased quality?
