This was the follow up hit single to Help Me. This hit reached # 22 on the chart in Sept 74. Only wished Raised On Robbery and In France They Kiss on Main Street were hits too, but they were not. Great songs never the less.
This was a pefect example of the songwriters craft at its pinnacle that was so beautiful in the 70s'........todays music is literally shit by comparison!
finally the studio single is on youtube. i first heard this in 1980 and then heard it again a lot in 1985 for some reason. haven't heard it on radio since except for maybe 1 or 2 times.

@Wetoddid9 As far as I know, Joni wrote this about David Geffen and how he felt during a trip the two of them made to Paris in the early '70s.
