@pinguy1982 it seems that the Wii, has a lot of games that are fitness related. I think they probably have an exclusivity contract with the game. The same way that microsoft will only allow halo to be released for the x360. Nintendo realizes fitness is something the other systems don't have and they will use it as best they can.
Project Natal is actually a really great idea. However, i feel like that idea was due to the motion sensing of the wii but without the controller. It is a great idea but Microsoft will fall in the trap that Nintendo fell in. I heard countless times that the wii suck because people don't want to move or have a workout when playing a game. I feel like this is what people are going to say for Microsoft. People just plainly love controllers and i don't blame them.
To be honest, this will knock Wii Fit and EA sports active out of the competitiion. I really like the camera because it is new to the system, and it will give you an "accurate" workout. Another thing i like about this game is that this game has over 400 different exercises. However, i think the best part about this game is that Jenny McCarthy is my workout buddy. I can workout with her for months.
Because of this the Natal shall be redundant. Here is why, firstly this has other games already lined up. Secondly Nintendo simply has to say a third party developer is key is accused of mimicking the eye toy. While ms simply copied Sony and boosted the dynamics. The genius that is Nintendo.

I don't know about buying it off, but I definitely see UbiSoft's camera going places with the freedom it deserves. If the camera works well enough, I'll consider buying the whole game. I almost bought Kinetic for PS2, but then I found out I needed an extra piece for the Eye Toy and I didn't want to pay $50 for the whole set.

We are not fan boys, we are a part of a multitude that have grown up on Nintendos brilliance. Wii is in a different market smart one xbox 360 dominated the gamers market, destroying the ps3 while the wii had the casual/little kids market to its self. Hello Wii Had the whole demographic, from Little ones to the oldest of people, you might call it anything you want; but in my the world book that is just pure genius. They have Mature games for disturbed Nintendo fanboys that love gore, they Zelda for players that just love a classic that includes Sony and MS fanboys too, the introduced gaming to overlooked people, e.g women people with the real buying power e.g 90% of U.S shoppers. Catered to children so parents watch what their ankle bitters.

I don't know about buying it off, but I definitely see UbiSoft's camera going places with the freedom it deserves. If the camera works well enough, I'll consider buying the whole game. I almost bought Kinetic for PS2, but then I found out I needed an extra piece for the Eye Toy and I didn't want to pay $50 for the whole set.

Natal is just as gimmicky as any other new peripheral.
a console needs a single interface that works with everything.
That's what the wii's hardware does, and that's why Nintendo will always lead the pack. they don't just follow trends, then innovate.
That said, this is gimmicky as hell, but it's ubisoft, so that's expected.

Because:
1. Its a gamers console so the people who own 360's buy way more games
2. Online is High quality and costs money
3. They have a robost online store where you can rent movies and download games
4. It has different versions that cost more and has different features.

Microsoft has conquered the computer
market and will soon have an iron grip on the gaming market
Microsoft is a more capable company
Now that Nintendo has used up its last trick it can no longer try to out power the next console, its motion sensing will soon be obsolete and its exclusives will become a thing of the past as we've seen with the ps3 (not mario ofc tho lol)

wii vitality is for exercise games and useful only for exercise games They can not detect your emotions only your heart rate And "your camera" (as if your on "the other team" or something) is not even from Nintendo its from ubisoft and currently works with one - o n e - Game.

Also Wii vitality is Pulse oximeter. It can tell other data like how fast you breathe.

No not even close, this has a single lens which is waaaaaaaaaaaaay less useful in this case meaning that Natal is far more precise and if that wasn't enough, its also backed buy the 360's 7 times more powerful processor.
Also it only has simple voice commands not voice recognition or face recognition
