this video is stupid cuz u can't test the speed on 2 different internet sources! they must be both getting internet from the same source (edge, 3G, gprs, wap, wi-fi) in order to know which browser is faster.

this test is total bogus. Don't try to trick people with your crap tests. Anyone with half a brain can see what's going on here. I have both the browsers on my iphone, and neither is significantly faster than the other. And my safari has NEVER gone as slow as you are showing. Never.

@rpgfx Safari can be that slow where I am. Opera absolutely kills safari in speed tests, but the rendering of web pages can be a bit strange and disjointed.

Bad coverage?? Dude, you have full bars on both iPhones! Not to mention the cheat by not even tapping on Phone scoop on the safari browser during the 2nd test! Note how the spinning ball stops after a while....heck, the bookmarks pane didnt even hide, indicating that a link was pressed!

Opera is much faster in my own tests, but at least make sure you do it right if ur gonna compare!

On the second test on Safari, when you clicked on the history and it didn't load, that has nothing to do with the 3G speeds. the iPhone didn't register the touch. IF YOU WANT MORE SUBSCRIBERS, DONT BE SO BIASED.

Looks like it has a few more features than safari, and a nicer interface. Shame there's no pinch to zoom. The second test was a complete fail though, it didn't even register the tap for safari, the guy must have known he'd make a mistake, but kept going anyway.

I would have to test this for myself. I can't trust this demo. The second test doesn't even look like it registered the touch on the iphone.
