@Monstoday I bet that you would have fun with a stroboscope. They are easy to make these days. All you need are white LEDs and a 555 timer. It wasn't that long ago that a xenon flash tube would have been required.
@simondegrootpuntnl Yes, I did, years ago, when I had a lathe and a vertical mill. It was going to be a water wheel, but worked well with air, which is much less messy. Glad you like it.
The wagon-wheel effect fascinates me, so thanks for sharing. Interesting how the 8 marks turned to 16 early on then back to 8 :-)
