@MrMilo13 Look, Mr. Smartypants, why don't you take all that energy you used whining about this person's video, and use it to jack-off until you have absolutely no sperm left. That way, the world can rest soundly, knowing that another nincompoop like you will not be walking this planet. Thanks, from me, and the rest of the civilized world! :)
Re: the video with this song.... Decades ago, late one night at a gathering, after smoking a couple of joints, this song came on the TV along with a video from the old TV series "Fireball XL-5" showing various scenes of the puppets (Steve Zodiac, Professor Matic, Robert the Robot, etc...) at Space City and also aboard their spacecraft. Now, THAT VIDEO seemed to go perfect with this song. We all sat mesmerized that night watching that video while this song played. Maybe it was the dope!
@RUGGIDSKATA The end of the song that goes into a sort of reverie was always my favorite. Strangely enough, it very nearly matches a theme from the movie "Boy on a Dolphin". I'm not a musician, but I could swear Winwood performed a neat little transposition.
I don't get why so many are dissing the video. I think it's sensational! It really compliments the music. My only complaint is it cuts off before it's completely over. But that's a small gripe. Favorite!
With Had to Cry Today (Blind Faith), Idiot Wind (Blood on the Tracks), and Holiday in the Sun (Never Mind the Bollocks), there is no better launching of an album than Traffic's Glad. Absolutely fabulous.
With Had to Cry Today, Glad is one of my all-time favorites. How can this group be overlooked? They were primo, man! Steve Winwood, just maybe the most accomplished musician in all of rock-stardom -- just ask Jimi!
It looks as if you were going for the ever popular rainbow effect in this song. (makeing the video and the song make sense together) Nice job. A little shabby, but nice job!
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA! This is the most disturbing video I've ever seen! I love it!! It makes no sense, and somehow, based on the fact that this song appeals to a very specific group of "experimental" people, I think that's the point. I loved the randomness of the video and I challenge anyone to come up with any logical and "good" video to this song. Until then, it doesn't get any better friend! Good song and hilarious video!
Don't worry, Pulross. Great tune, cool video. Notice ol' Lamedick's "handle" - Spirit Crusher. Some folks feel so crappy about themselves, they have to try and bring everyone else down to their level. He's a prime example.
brilliant video!
