you went a little over by distorting the kick a little too much, you need a punch, sub bass and DIST or Tail/bass. Fail.

i downloaded a pack called: ''blutonium boy hardstyle samples''

the program comes with some nice kicks and basslines and other sound ;)

works much better then making a kick by urself, btw; if you make a kick use a compressor ;)

@Dorlomir i know, but you can modify them (and it,s also easy when you are a beginner with the program), and i can make a kick whitout a sample, not very hard... :P

There is no shame in using Samples, and its not for Noobs.

All the Big Producers in the Trance and Dubstep scene use Samples.

Yes, even Tiesto.....so you call them Noobs, right?

Percussions --> Samples

Vocals--> Samples

And well, I do Sample my selfmade kicks aswell, sooo......

Using Early HS Kicks isnt bad, they dont have much tone in them :)

Using Nu Style Kick Samples isnt that bad either.

Its all about Editing.

I, for example use Nu Style Invasion Samples by Shock Force, and I still have my Original sound.

You just need to know, what to do with them.

@Dorlomir yes of course , good producers like blah , blah , headhunterz and blah , blah , noisecontrollers...they all making good kicks with easy kickpresets on µtonic , drumazon or predator..haha

or hardwaresampler..easier as fuck yeah ! whats matters is good EQ'ing , layering , compression and mastering !

this actually is a very baad kick xD

even the standard preset at the beginning is better than what you got at the end..

but work on it and you´´ll get better ;)

I see your using clips. What do you think of them compared to patterns? My mate uses them but i fuckin hate em! I have tried but for me it isn't user friendly. I love using patterns and i'm sticking to them. So much for free life time updates.
