Yara Islam does not prohibit Golden anything for men. Islam prohibits GOLD and Silk for Men. One can wear anything Golden, cap, shoes, clothes, even watch, but it should not be made of Gold.
Also, this is a trend in our area (Khyber) to wear fake Rado. I have one too, cost me 1000 rs. You can't tell the difference between original and fake. Almost every single person I know in Khyber, rich or poor, have a fake Golden rado.
But again, I could be wrong, as I don't know if its real or not.
