@kubiiczech, A 1.3i body is strong enough with a c20xe engine. For example a friend of my drove a 1.3 body with a C20let engine, 340bhp. After three or four years the body was too bad to go on with the car. But I do recommend strut braces. You can also make your body stronger by welding the chassis. The nice thing about a 1.3 body is it weight 820kg, without a interior and a c20xe engine, good tyres its a very fast car, the start is amazing.
Hi! I also have Kadett E 1,3i, also club edition and I also have C20XE in my garage. I bought the whole GSi16v for spare parts for riddiculous price 40EUR :-D
I'd like to ask you for advice.
I am going to swap the engine and I don't know what to do with a body. I guess that the 1,3i body is weaker and it will need to be braced.
How did you do that? Strut brace won't be enough I guess. I don't wanna kill myself :-(

@CorsaC20NE Thanks for information. Me and my colleague want to build something like a hobby team. I've got that Kadett and he's got Corsa A and now he is looking for C20XE or C20LET. I only have a little rust around the part that holds the control arm on drivers side and I was just wondering if the repair is enough or if I should brace it. But that the only one problematic place. Except this the whole body is in a great condition... what a pity that the rust is such a big problem of these cars
The tires are very good for the road as well for circuit use. I lauched with 3000 rpm, if you listen to the sound of the engine I have to much grip so I play with my clutch to have a better start. As you can see I have much grip with the tyres.

The engine in the video is non turbo, stock c20xe+lightweight flywheel. It weight round 5 kilogram. Not very light but good enough.
