  • l love this laid back, unassuming and seemingly effortless style of playing. lt makes a pleasant change from some of the frantic record breaking attempts on offer by a few contributors. This is top draw playing in my book.

  • @crankbv1 yes this is also one of my favorite pieces..the changes in the song are so nice..have a nice weekend

    boogie on!!

    Eeco

  • You're awesome! I wish this was a studio recording. I love this kind of music.

  • WOW!Thank you for this video|You're great!

  • @docorazius It was my pleasure, enjoy the rest of the videos! :)

    Eeco

  • Great job! Awesome talent!

  • thanks :) fun to share with the world..boogie on & have a nice weekend :)

    Eeco

  • funny :-) at the beginning it sounds very simple but later it turns into very complicated and difficult-to-play piece...I also don´t understand those people that say you should try harder :-( I´d like to hear THEM play...

  • yeah its like a climbing a mountain first easy steps then at the top you go crazy ...I MADE IT !! lets boogie :) (have a nice weekend! )

    Eeco

  • Fantastic Job -

  • thanks :)

    Eeco

  • Fantastic . Ala Boogie Woogie -.

  • thanks a lot :D

    Eeco

  • Hi Eeco,

This keeps one of my favourites among your songs. Boogie Woogie isn't just about rocking and playing loud. When you listen to old recordings the style you hear is very similar to yours, just very tight en precise.

    Please go on like this!

    Grtz

  • Thanks a lot :) appreciate your kind words..have a good day & boogie on ! Bye Eeco :)

  • Right now I'm practicing the Swanee River Boogie, I'll contact you once I have a vid online. I'd like to know what you think about my style and stuff. Grtz!

  • Sure..let me know :) boogie on !

  • Great playing! 5 Stars.

    Joe

  • Thanks Joe :)

  • ignore the stupid playola comments! this is how it should be played, and it's near perfect! i've picked up so many awesome licks from you thanks for all the videos :D

  • Thanks ,ejoy it and swing it!! :D

  • yo, man, great buildup too of the whole groove: unpretentious and to the spot. Your foot stomping on 2 and 4: that to me means "nice and calm". great job, keep it up

  • Hallo, ik speel zelf Tuxedo Boogie, en dat klinkt nog maar half zo goed als dat van jou, dus zolang jouw filmpjes op internet staan, goed man! Dat stimuleert mensen! Dank!

  • Eeco, don't listen to these guys telling to rock more. You just keep doing exactly what you do. You are a wonderful musician and I am a great fan of yours.

  • ur very talented but try and rock a bit more it is a dance style

  • I play it like the original song..so if you want to change it you have to say that to Albert Ammons LOL..

  • IMO the playola comment is silly. I believe it was made by someone who a) doesn't understand the talent (and work) required to play like that, and b) believes the style reminds him/her of a typical playola track.

I think you have huge talent. I am a piano/organ player myself, and am very impressed - especially by your left hand.

  • Yes, I agree with that playola comment. Try and really let yourself go a bit more.

  • Really not bad. A bit like a playola piano, but not bad.

  • What do you mean with playola. The piano that plays from itself..hmmmm ok :S..bye Eeco :D

  • This is one of my favorites besides Boogie Woogie Stomp, man I want to buy your cd!! :D Tom

  • Damn you guys have got such awesome taste on boogie woogie :), I love the roll of the bass in this one as well as the smooth lead playing :)

If there is such a thing as a natural boogie player, you're definitely that Eeco :), thank you so much buddy :), if you get a chance to cover 'Bass Goin' Crazy', please let me know because that's my fave boogie track of all time and also an Ammons number :)

    Top rating yet again :)

  • Very nice! Tuxedo Boogie is probably one of my favourite ones Ammons did with the Rhythm Kings along with 'Margie', 'Oh, Lady, Be Good!', 'Swanee River Boogie' and 'Roses of Picardy'. Great transcription by the way!
