almost exactly 4 years ago, i rode a motorcycle THROUGH a vacation rush queue that was about 150km (roughly 100miles) long. It was moving slowly most of the time with some stops, and there were pockets of 1-2km (about a mile) without heavy queue occationally, but a friend that drove a car the same stretch the same day used 9 hours, and i used about 2,5 hours on a motorcycle weaving through traffic at about 10-20km/t (6-12mph) above queue speed most of the time.
There is no place in the world where health care is FREE. Do you think doctors work for FREE? We pay taxes at 39% in Canada in order to pay health care providers. I'm sick of hearing how good the Canadian health care system is. You can easily spend 6 hours in an ER waiting for treatment and then get second rate service by an over-worked GP

On to response, I was on my way to report for duty at Ft. Lee Virginia from Ft. Jackson and was going POV "personally owned vehicle" which means, I have NO excuse to NOT be on time, unless dead. So the state of Virginia, in all its wisdom, decided to shut down BOTH lanes of traffic for 8 hours, stalling traffic for all 8 plus more hours... I had 9 hours to report.
Travelling from NJ to Oh on the turnpike around 6pm it was snowing so heavy you could not see. Traffic stopped at the top of a 10 mile downgrade and we sat for hours. We played in the snow, sang songs, alternated time having the heat on til we all fell asleep. My Dad woke us around 11 pm and there were no cars in front of us and behind us 2 lanes packed solid with cars. As we pulled away he honked his horn once. All the way down the hill there were cars off the side of the road everywhere.
Another side affect of Yaz is it fucks with your hormones and makes you go BAT SHIT CRAZY. Every girl I know who has been on it had terrible mood swings for about three months. And I went yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay my doctor perscribed me a birth control that doesn't make me rip peoples' faces off.

I was there at the concert, for a while, it was part of the New West Fest that's put on every year by a local philanthropist (3 days of concerts). The problem here, is that there is also alcohol served. I've lived in town for a few years now [NPI], and I noticed our "riots" are usually small bar-fights that pour out onto the streets. From the accounts of some of my friends in the riots this went a bit further than that, a canister of Tear-gas or two, and a broken store-front window further.

Mine is 3 hours. I live in South carolina like on the border of North carolina and there was a truck that carried oil and it literely blew up and there was a big fire and it was crazy, but sadly one person died

In the start of the year ireland and England were in a MASSIVE snow storm and it was so bad my grandparents and some friends were in traffic in a mountain for 2 days. We got ages off school though ;)

when i was younger my mom, dad, nd sister were coming back from vacation in south carolina and my dad hit the fire extinguisher causing it to go off. the whole suv was covered in dust instantly. luckily we were in traffic! id have to say i liked being in traffic that day. (oh, the pin fell out)

The longest I've ever stayed in a traffic jam was 2 and a half hours because a car flipped over and the police and crew were looking for a baby who may have fallen out of the car.
