  • at 4:25 wouldnt incedecne help it fly or is ti to small for incedence?????

  • What's up with the Thumbnail?

  • +18 Only....

    /watch?v=rI2v31F1DS8

  • Now , the big Q is what happened to that cunt , you had on your ,first page , hey .lol

  • Copper wire is heavy. Ever tried using either fiberglass, or even kevlar rod? I made a kevlar main bulkhead for a Cox EZ Bee once.

  • hello! what;s the name of the track ??? please?

  • where'd u get that plane I WANT ONE

  • buenaaaa

  • thumbs up if you clicked because of the thumbnail

  • @TheIronman4351

Yes I fancied the thumbnail quite a bit.

  • hello i have a problem and i would love some advise if possible, i recently brought an rc mini extra 300 with the wing in the middle of the fuse-large in one of my flights the wing broke in two so i was wondering how do i fix that - they dont sell spares for it either so im sorta in trouble if i dont fix it - how do i fix somthing like you did but with ailons in the wing

  • where do i get 1 of those cessna???

oh it has to post to malta btw :D

  • were did you buy that plane

  • "Type PRIZE before youtube and hit enter"

  • omgomgomgomgomg

  • try wingstays they will do the job

  • If I were you I would put a second rubberband on incase one breaks.

  • whats this all about

  • where did you buy this and how much was it ( the plane ) a reply would be much appreeiciated :)

  • That Cessna flys like crap....IMO......Weigh 2 Heavy

  • Curious wings you have at 2:23 dude!! Cesna looks so funny!!

  • Cool video - you should create a profile on RCPilotsOnline . c o m and share it with other pilots

  • not sure if u realise or not but if u r gonna craft ur own wings try get the curve u see in actual plane wings, because thatll give it lift, ive never actually flown an rc plane before, but i have studied aviation, so im pretty sure im correct on that

  • good song

  • dont cut ur wrist , we all would be really sad.

  • "Green Eyed Lady" in the background. Nice song

  • Dude the thing is way tail heavy!

  • I've got an itching desire to make a trip to Singapore all of a sudden. LOL

  • The orange bags on your heli in the background is used for what and where can you get them? I have seen them on videos but never where I might be able to ask someone what they are. Have never seen these in used in water, only on land. Maybe float, crash protection, or weight to lower CG. Thanks I am starting sml heli

  • @dajatu he has a video about them, they are swimming floats for children and they help him see the heli better in the sky

  • coulf i hav it

  • How much was the plane??

  • Heres an idea for what you really should do. Why don't you strap that thing to a dildo (using some come common household electric tape found at any local hardware store) and then jam that shit up ur ass

  • bamboo is better than heavy copper wire.

  • Why not reinforce the fuselage just below the wing with thin PVC sheeting, then drill holes for your dowel rods? Works for me...

  • The moral of this story is learn how to fly and dont catch it by the wing then it wont bust !

  • At the 1:50 mark, did he say stock BLADE ????

  • Why of all things copper wire? Gonna make a lead nosecowl next?

  • that amount of wire would weigh less than a pencil, nothing to worry about, its centered anyways

  • put a friggen peice of scotch tape. that is super light and doesnt require a friggen nose dive for it to work.

  • thats pretty cool how you have this for a hobby...you seem to enjoy it as much as i do working in engines

  • ok that wont stop you from braking your wings but it is a good way to swap different wings on to one plane...

  • small wood dowels would have been lighter and better than the copper

  • cocktail sticks would have been ideal, could have just pushed them through the fuselage sides, dab of foam safe CA, job done.

  • its the slow stick mr herbert

  • just us some double sided sticky tape, its strong, but it will stay on one side or the other when u crash, per\fect fix

  • Rubber bands won't just pop off in a crash if they are crossed.

  • y cant u cross the rubber bands?

  • what would type of material would you use for a good dihedral?

  • Can you make a video about your slow stick modle

  • Mr Dave, would you do a reveiw of the pby rc catalina, it is cheaper at this place called raidentech. and also, you probably could make a good air craft carrier out of an rc hover craft cool vid by the way

  • Love the background music------cool

  • songs called: green eyed lady. By "the guess who"

  • I like to use bamboo skewers for wing dowels (on small planes), light, tough, take glue well and cheap !

  • FANTABULOUS

  • HOW MUCH THIS

  • $100.00

  • what is the name of the cutie girl right there

  • Keeping your wing from breaking in half as it will pop off this way in a crash.

  • two quick questions

    1. can i strap the rubberband from the back right to the top left copper rod and vise versa for the otherside?

    2. is their a possible way to do something similar to this for wings mounted on th bottom and middle?

thanks i'm new to r.c. planes so any answers help

  • Yes, to 1.

Yes to 2, just push the rod through the fuselage.

  • Ok thank you very much

  • @NightFlyyer what would be cool is to make it have a heli rotor, and make it fly up and forward, just to see if it would word.

  • @NightFlyyer where did you get that

  • u should get a vapor and make it a bipe

    nice vid

  • Yep. Thanks.

  • You'll probably ruing it but you have good idea too, the airplane is your! Good luck!

  • How dop you make wings with pictures on them?

  • 0:46 does he say copper wire?!?!

You should take small wooden sticks, or even better, (hollow) carbon fibre rods.

    2mm thick is enough.

Copper is way to heavy for a small plane like that!

  • Yes, I could have done that. The wire does not weigh enough to slow this plane, however.

  • @NightFlyyer yes that would be because the added weight means higher wing loading which in turn means the plane has to fly FASTER the more weight you add which in turn means you draw more amps to fly which translates to shorter run times so your comment would be correct but strength to weight ratio means the above posters comment is more correct across model sizes (for any noobs reading)

  • @calmatosport That's what I was saying too! It's not R/C to do like that with copper, it's not!

  • where can u buy a little plane like that?

  • HobbyTown USA

  • One word INTERNET

  • i have a better idea- use tiny neodimium magnets...

  • Yes, they already do that...but if you dont have them, you know, there are many ways to slice a pizza. Thanks for the comments.

  • Disco inferno! Love watching your videos Dave.

  • Haha. Thanks much.

  • reminds me the propeller winding plastic planes when i was kid they used to put the wing on it exactly the same way...good trick!..and works for sure..! thanks for the post!

  • Haha. True. Thanks for the comments.

  • Very cool!... I always enjoy seeing people experiment and try new ideas. One tip for you: That plane is very light and performance depends on keeping it light. You might try replacing the heavy copper-wire pieces with dowel or bamboo skewers. I believe the weight savings would enhance the flight performance.

  • Thanks. Your right about the weight, I have since rebuilt this plane and used strong round toothpicks and they are perfect and just the right length.

  • you should make a gyrocopter

  • Maybe. Been there with limited success so far, however, back when we were using gas. See my airplane crashes video and you will see it fly.

  • Hey Dave great vid as usual. you shold chek out the OmniWing for a kik.

  • Thanks. Ill take a look.

  • Hi,

    This is usefull to know.

Is the accelerator used for speed only or also to make the glue fill gaps? Someone told me it makes the glue expand.

  • Thanks. The glue expands slightly, but no problem. The accelerator makes the glue dry instantly, so it is the speed, or I would be holding parts all night. LOL.

  • Once again, very nice video!

  • Thank you kindly.

  • Superb vid, where can i get one of those planes? Do yhey come with the tx? Thanks.

  • I got mine from Donovan's Hobby store, but you can get them just about anywhere. They come complete with radio and are great little fliers.

See my other videos on the Cessna Centurion for more and good luck.

  • Thanks for the info. :)

  • Great video as usual. FYI copper is one of the densest metals out there so if you need to lighten your craft you might want to look into using steel or aluminum.

I make ballast out of copper for my RC sailboats when I don't have access to lead.

  • Your right about the weight, but it didn't bother this plane too much. I didn't have anything else at hand when I decided to do this and I wanted something easily bendable, so guess that is why I used it. Thanks for the comments.

  • Nice video, this is actually used on the not-so-great Megatech Skyliner.

  • Thanks. Yep. Lots of planes do. They dont look as good, but the wings usually stay intact in a hard landing when they pop off.

  • ok at 3:10 i also have that but i cant find the wight thing and a hobby shop i went to said they did not make that part what can i do as a substitute

  • Use a small washer and then put a drop of Amazing Goop (Ace Hardware) on the tip of the shaft so it pushes up and lies against the washer with no slop and let it dry. Voila!

  • i tryinf to make my own plane but i don't really think that its going to flight...nice video though...

  • Good. You never know if you dont try. Thanks for your comments.

  • wow sir lovely.. haha my piper cubs wing snapped..i guess foam fatigue! haah.. i have just bought an Estarter and going to build it soon.. haha.. keep postin! tc

  • Thanks very much. Good luck with your plane.

  • mine actually did the same thing, i can't fly it becuase it won't go up and down. And the little peice that fell off, i have no clue where it went. what can i do?

  • Put a small washer on that shaft that fits, and then put one tiny drop of Amazing goop or epoxy on the end of shaft to keep it from coming off. It is just a retainer, so most anything will work.

  • sir may i know how much you paid for this one? Please..

  • A year ago, I paid $149.

  • I did ur mods on the Storm Launcher and my propeller keeps on falling off what should i do??

  • Well, my mods have nothing to do with the props falling off. I have never seen that happen. You need a new prop, that's all. They are force fit and need tapped on with a hammer to get them to stay. Once used, they dont work ever again, because they cant stay tight.

  • i can't even bear to bend the wings lol much less cut it off haha

  • Haha.

  • i love that slow stick you showed.can i have or find any plans for it to build?

    thanks , stratos from greece

  • Thanks. Try the Yard Stick from Great Planes.

    electrifly(.)com/parkflyers/gpma1100(.)html

  • you did dihedral, now try anahedral! that plane will roll like crazy!!!

  • Haha. I will try that. All I have to do is turn the wing over.

  • let me know how it turns out!

  • Really nice! Thanks for posting! by the way, this is Mr. Jackson from the 817 number. And if i get two flat toothpicks and glue them together will that work?

  • Yes, but they will break in a crash possibly, and then become hard to remove and replace with new ones, ya know. Great to hear from you.

  • why can't I view it????

  • nevermind

  • click watch in high quality

  • Great one Dave. You just saved a whole lot of folks much grief and money by making their models more durable and repairable. Nice idea for a video. 4 stars.

  • Thanks very much. I appreciate your comments.

  • wow

  • 1978...I was only 4 years old...that would make her close to 50's now. hahahaha. Nice Vid.

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks.

  • Hi Dave,i have a couple of planes that already use rubber bands and a few without so i think that was a great idea and shall give that ago,as always your ideas are the best mate so please keep the vids coming and five stars as always lol.

  • Thanks much. Good luck and stay tuned.

  • Thanks very kindly. I appreciate your comments

  • wow thanks i think ill try that becuase i can count on your exparments to work1

  • Thank you very much.

  • Wow! I have one of those cesna 210 mini, this is an awsome airplane,One of the best I have. And your video can save me money ! thanks !!!

You are a great teacher! See ya.

  • Thanks very kindly. Happy flying.

  • I have a Citabria, but in a crash, the propeller came of and the gear box is misaligned. What should I do?

  • Cut open the cowl with a knife along the tape and front of the wing. You can tape it back later. Take the motor and line up the shaft as best as you can with needle nose pliers. If you cant fix it, you can order the motor and gearbox from the MFG.

  • Congrats.

  • hey dave, i am geting into airplanes and i am looking for the most realistic flight simulator i can find to lern on. would you recomend the real flight 4.5 or the aerofly. like i said i want the most realistic sim so i can fly real planes when i can fly the on the sim. thanks.

  • Aerofly Professional Deluxe won all top awards and honors for being the most realistic with Flight Physics of the planes and also for graphics. I have them all, but that is the one I practice on, with winds and gusts turned up and flying the 60 sized 3D helis will definitely keep you on your toes.

    Check it out at Hobby-Lobby(.)com

  • the gear came off on mine while flying. haha and none of the hobby places near me have one that size.

  • Darn. Try the Manufacturer, then, would be my choice.

  • Ok, i'll try that. Hopefully i'll work.

  • Okay. Good luck.

  • Excellent idea. Great video as always, Mr. Herbert! 5 stars

  • Thanks Jeff. I appreciate that.

  • U SHOULD PUT ARONS ON IT

  • It would require a complete radio change out to do that. It flys fine without them however, as seen in my Product review on it a year ago.

  • good morning dave

    Thnaks for the great tip!

and of corse for the nice vid.

    Have a nice sunday

    greetings

    ben :o)

  • Thanks Ben, I appreciate that.

  • very very cool...

  • Thanks much.

  • HA First post. And hey thats an excellent idea. Would help people sae money on planes if companies made all their planes like this. 5/5

  • ok make that third view lol

  • LOL LOL.

  • Congrates. Thanks kindly. I appreciate that.

  • Cool video dave

    I'm going to bed now

  • Thanks. Sleep tight.

  • First view:P
