Yes this music is not Salsa, but as the choreographer, you have to use the music that the show gives you. I told them its not salsa but they need to use only music that they have the rights to!

Also, the style is ON1 Salsa is defined by the showmoves rather the timing it is danced to.

Fifi and Paul, u guys showed what Salsa is... Sexy, showy and most of all FUN!!!

despite the music this dance is definitely salsa and besides the flips and dips most of the moves were very basic salsa they did a nice job for little time to train :)

This video surprised me.Great job for the short amount of preparation time. Usually on 1 dancing has a lot dips & tricks as they did and those are the kinds of things you have to do to fill in time when you're not an expert. The choreographer should've picked a real salsa song though but other than that- good stage presence,good synchronization,good performance.
