  • HOLY SHIT,AWESOMENESS!! much better than damn asimo!!

  • It's that for sale

  • This is like living art. Any plans to sell them?

  • This is the most beautifully organic motion I've ever seen from any kind of a machine. It's mesmerizing to watch. Absolutely beautiful. And frightening as hell. You people are gonna give up till you bring about Judgement day are ya?

  • We are doomed....

  • Great.. I`ve seen this movie before.. We all die at the end. If DARPA finds this we`re so screwed..

  • i kept forgetting it was a robot it has such natural motions

  • okay, very impressive. but how long until we get a life size version that shoots lasers?

  • Could you explain a bit about how you are controlling such complex movements?

  • @skrame01 Check out one of the workshop videos. :)

  • sweat

  • 1:22 having sex

  • cool

  • SO CUTE

  • 2:46 Now let it drink it.

  • thats the fanciest cup holder iv ever see XD

  • Can you make him to chop my friends balls off pls

  • cool

  • wow...very impressive!

  • how much did this cost to make :(

  • brilliant

  • all it needs now is free will...

  • I want to see him run and jump!

  • its beautiful, and creepy, at the same time.

  • looks like this robabot can make sweet ant love

  • amazing, the leveling is especially impressive

  • lol ant bot tea bagging

  • god I want a mini army of those just to freak people out by having them rush from on hiding place to another

  • we ask our selves if god is real creation and all that staff but we humans are starting to create or build vote this up it would mean alot peace

  • whats the instrumentals name?

  • today its a harmless machine. Then tomorrow it goes back in time to KILL JOHN CONNER!!! or another easier way to describe it...DECEPTICON!!!!!

  • I Love machine!!

  • 2:00 That robot KNOWS what he wants!

  • Maaaan This thing can dance better than ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!

  • how does it know the force it needs to use, and when to stop the push, when it grabs the can, how does it not crush it, or bust any part of its own?

  • imagine an army of those.... in your house.... hell-bent on killing you. XD

  • it did the coca-cola ritual dance with the can lol

  • a few solar cells and itll be ready for our overtaking of Mars.

  • can i have one of those? XD

  • add weapons for warfare and then, only then, have you created skynet

  • Think about it.. 1000th times it's size smaller and in your brain :(

  • This is the best micro-controller project I have ever seen.

  • thanks for shaking up my coke you worthless piece of....

  • how fast can it go?

  • this is the most amazing programming i have ever seen

  • wow that motion is so fluid it almost looks cgi

  • my cat would go nuts for it!!!!

  • i want that!!!!!

  • unbelievable design & a fantastic clip 10/10 well done

  • I want 2!!!!

  • wow,,,it moves smoothly...amazing.

  • Truly a kinematic kungfu master.. :))

  • You are a genius! Now you need to integrate self-repairing qualities and that would make it like a replicator lol

  • i like how the military cant make stuff like this work but some random people make this stuff and it works

  • You sure did make this insect looking robot appear to hump the floor a lot.

  • well done man

  • That robot is absolutely amazing, i mean it have surprising movements. Congratulations I'm very surprised (excuseme by my english, I'm Spanish)

So carry on doing such amazing stuff, i love it. (:

  • Can You Make A Tutorial In How To Make This A-POD?

  • @MrMAKE911 Visit the Lynxmotion forum and take a look at my A-Pod thread and you'll get sufficient information.

  • @ZentaOlbaid is there a website you could link to where the forum is, w w w (dot) ????? (dot) c o m ...etc?

  • Wooooh man. That's freking awesome. Good job. Wish I can make 1 of that.

  • Nice work!

But how did you programmed the A-Pod? It's so hard, isn't it?

  • 2:08

The greatest technical achievement in man's (and I mean man specifically) history.

  • can u make another one, and let them make love like 2 dogs?

  • have You considered to share Your knowledge about this awesome peace of hardware? some schematics, designs, maybe source codes? maybe there already is some information somewhere published?

this is somewhat similar to what i am planning to build. only thing is that i concentrate most on AI part. unfortunately i am not good enough at electronics. as i am a programmer, playing with AI will be very interesting project for me :)

  • Watched this a year ago, and now I'm still impressed..

It's just amazing how you can implement that complex kinematics to a Basic Atom microcontrollers. Way to go man.

  • Am I the only one finding a final fantasy 8 reference in this robot....

  • Perfect waiter.

  • absolutely mind blowing! people like you give shape to the future!

  • for now,how many prank shows asked for this robot?

  • where did u buy it? and for how much?

  • @FLUFFEEROX It's my own design, I didn't bought it. ;)

  • @ZentaOlbaid DUDE DID U KNOW YOU CAN SELL THIS DESIGN TO A COMPANY AND MAKE LOTS OF MONEY?

  • Now, if it could only carry 10-50 times it's body weight. :)

  • Comment removed

  • all it needs is a brain...

    A.I.

  • Darn, I though he was going to crash the tin can!

  • do want! how much?!

Are there some constrution plans and source code for it?

  • Looks very supple. Reminds me I should get back to Yoga.

  • Amazing...that water pour was just amazing...

  • Is this the new cocacola advert? lool

  • how did you get it to move so fluidly ?

  • @gizmo664100 I told him to...

  • I want one! Where can I get one?

  • What type of servos are you using, AX-12's? That's some nice programming by the way)

  • @Andyman3k Thanks! RC type. Hitec HS-645MG

  • tachcoma

  • its doing push-ups loool

  • Isnt it done stretching yet..

  • how do u aford to do this?

  • do a barrel roll

  • @0:46

hate to break it to you kid, but you can't hump the table.

  • Is it currently or are there plans to make it fully autonomous?

  • but will it blend?

  • This is for me Biomechanic!!!

  • Tutorial how to build :> ?

  • Where can i buy it :> ?

  • Cool

  • Did you use rubber on the inside of the mandibles for better grip? Or are the servo's just that powerful?

  • @MrTpengineer Yes, I'm using rubber inside the mandibles.

  • @ZentaOlbaid cool

  • They should send this to war

  • Wow, fantastic! Very nice movements. Actually, how do you get the movements so natural / fluid?

  • Damn I was so sure the mandibles were gonna be used to crush the full coke can at the end

  • Very impressive indeed.

I am a robotics researcher and this is one on the best robots I have seen in a long time.

Do you assume the ground is a flat plane in your IK controller? I mean, how would it perform on more challenging terrain?

  • I do not believe there are people who clicked did not like.

  • cool! it has such natural movements!

  • i love ant robots!

  • what material did you use for the chassis design and how did you cut / mold it so well ??

  • @SmithyAce I'm Using 5 mm ABS texture plastic for the black body parts. They are all handmade using bandsaw and heating gun for molding the parts.

  • IT'S ALIVE!!!!

  • Very good work ! the achievement is extraordinary

  • Looks like the tank from ghost in the shell!

  • Man i want to build one of these for my senior projects.

  • How many sticks and buttons are on the remote?

  • what school can I go to learn this stuff ? :)

  • Amazing!

  • thats fantastic! cool! give it a wifi and a cam and sell it !!!!

  • Read A.C.Clarkes Rama series a month or two back, brought one of his octo-spiders to mind... but this has six legs which would make it... a sexo-spider? Ah, no, I see - Hectopod. Oh well. I'd run with Sexospider.

  • hey is its jaws strong enough to crush the can it was holding?

  • 1:14 robo humping

  • did u built it or buy it?

  • @mrbumblesquat Built it.

  • @ZentaOlbaid Would you be able, currently, to make it walk in a smooth motion, or is it an impossibility at the moment?

You could seriously pull a patent on it and sell it off if you had the money.

  • @HappyGuyxlii Check out the A-Pod part 2 video. ;)

  • @ZentaOlbaid its fantastically programmed. well done, if you sold it as a kit you would be very rich. its smart people like u that deserve money, not people that kick a ball on a field or a shit song artist

  • @ZentaOlbaid self made or rtr

    (Ready to Run)????

  • i no wat i want 4 x-mas!!!

  • If your masterpiece would be autonomous and available to buy, that would be great.

It is a piece of Art.

  • Main feature: Humping the floor.

Haha jk, that's pretty awesome man :D

  • @Kombatkid456 LOL

  • Que Bonito!!!! realy complex

  • fascinating, i would enjoy having a whole tribe harvesting metal to feed their queen

  • you should try to sale it to stores because i think many peoples should want this cool 'A-pod'

  • It appears to be doing some light aerobics... lol. If it's real, Awesome robot.

  • Dear Santa Claus, Can please have median sized robot ant just like the one in the video. please Santa Claus!

    Sincerely,Victor Tran Tam

  • @ZentaOlbaid awesome I loved it nice! and what parts do you make it out of?

  • looks like an animation...

  • @masterxpb LOL, thanks! ;)

  • @ZentaOlbaid is that for SALE!!! if it is how much is it

  • @Shirley8000 I'm sorry its not for sale.

  • @ZentaOlbaid how much did it cost to build?

  • where can i buy parts ?

  • wow...exellent!!!

  • retails for??

  • Hands down, one of THE best robots I have ever seen on YouTube. Period.

  • I have a couple questions if you don't mind. What material did you use for body and legs? I've pretty much decided to use 6061 aluminum, though I'm an EE not an ME so I'm not sure of it's density and how much load it will put on the servos. Also, I've noticed you have Z-axis rotation, and Y-axis rotation, but I don't see X-axis... yet the movement is still very fluid, would you recommend that extra joint and servo? I know it's probably a matter of pref., also, do you use position sensing?

  • @aerowenn I've used 5mm texture ABS plastic. Are you referring to body rotations? If so, all X,Y,Z rotations are possible. I'm using ordinary RC servos, so no extra position sensors needed.

  • @ZentaOlbaid Sorry, I was kind of vague in what I was asking about rotation. I meant with the legs only, they extend/lift and move forward and backward, but no rotation about the other axis, come to think of it, I've only seen a couple that do have that rotation, and they are too far from what I'm wanting to build. For your servos, plastic gears, metal? How well are they holding up?

  • @aerowenn Ok, I understand. You don't need the extra DOF for the fluidity though. Did you see my T-Hex, using 4 DOF legs for increased flexibility. I'm using Hitec 645MG (metal gear) servos, about 10 kg/cm torque @6v.

  • @ZentaOlbaid Awesome, that brings a bit more simplicity to the design as well. I noticed you have some very nifty brackets attaching your body/leg servos, did you have to custom fab those?

  • Dear Santa ...

  • bet this costs alot

  • lol danceing robot

  • BEST SHIT EVER

  • COOl man! :D

  • esta vivo?

  • looks like its getting ready for a jog xD also those are some nice servos

  • looks like its getting ready for a jog xD

  • where can i buy the parts ?

  • cool! it moves its abdomen... then humps the floor. Then it moves his head! then it humps teh floor. then it picks up pop! ........followed by it humping the floor

  • nice work guys!!

  • where can i buy one?

  • This is so fluid compared to all of the other robot videos I've just been watching, and the design is so much easier on the eyes than all the other robots that don't even take design into account. I want one, plus the swivel around the neck is just sweet.

  • What do you use as far as Software and Controls in the Robot to control all the Servos ???

I always loved these and been in to RC for almost 30 Years now and would love to have 1 of those, just to scare PPL at the Lake having it walk through the grass

  • Dude that's cool

  • 129 dislikes? why? this is amazing. dont worry, they arent coming to exterminate mankind JUST yet...

  • @Razortine 129 arachnophobics

  • I am sure you get this all the time, but could you point me to a place where I can find out how to build one of these.

  • could be used 5.4kg/cm servos too?

  • Hey, do you know where I can get this song? I've found the original version, but do you know where I can find the instrumental?

  • Lovely! I'm as impressed with your kinematics as your mechanical design. Can easily see this appearing in some Hollywood movies. Fantastic work!

  • I'm working on a project in which the self-leveling and and head tracking body movements would be very helpful. I'm using Atom Pro. Any tips?

  • @dsbass09 You'll probably get some more info by reading my A-Pod thread in the lynxmotion forum. But the principle is very easy. Move the head with the same amount as the body rotation (tilt), but just in the opposite direction. In head tracking mode move the head with the same amount as the body rotation, in the same direction.

  • where can i get one and how much are they?!?

  • that is so fucking cool

  • dude that thing looks so alive, superwell done man

  • whats the Sound track?
