did you know that the drums aren't the most expensive piece in a bands set? you can easily go to a pawn shop and pick up a nice brand name kit for under $300, that's the cost of an Xbox so your really not losing any money there, also if you dont have $300 then go back to said pawn shop and pick up a nice guitar or bass for under $150 so your saving about $150 right there . you dont have to have the best of the best to play.

No. When I first time in my life played drums, I could play. You can just start drumming without any lessons and stupid games. And I DO play REAL AC/DC. I'm fan of AC/DC. My friend has this game. I didn't really like it... It's good pasttime, but not really anything else.

rock band and guitar hero and playing a real instrument is 100% different, one you dont have to be able to keep a beat (actually it helps if you cant keep time when playing that shit), you dont need to be able to play chords or anything its completely different. 1 you can go some ware with and the other just kills music as a whole

It's really night and day difference between the band kit and the ion drum kit. I was an ion hater once, thought it was way too much money, but once I was convinced to buy one, I realized that there really is some nice quality in it.  My playing has improved twice over in little less than a week of using the ion.

thats rock band dumbass, guitar hero doesn't have the green vertical bar on the left side of the screen. and if you look at the drum chart you'll notice the colour for the kick pedal is orange which in guitar hero its purple.

So there its rock band on the tv.

yea they look cewl and all, and some might go as far as to say that they are better than gh4's drums, they might look better, but i have played rockband 2 with the new set and it still has the loud fucking annoying sound when you hit the pads. and i personally dont think they look better than gh4's, rock band 1 drums were better. in the gh4 drums they eliminated the annoying sound that the pads make. and r the RB 2 drums velocity sensitive? i didnt think so

Ok one thing 2 note if your planing on playing REAL drums with this (most will because it cost a shit load if it's just for RB2) then u sould reconsiter buying it. i've known people who bought electronic drum sets and they sounded off when they played on normal drums. It's not big thing but just wanted note it. The good part about electronic drum sets is that thier quite compaerd to normal ones. I'm not trying to hate ion but some people bilndly buy things and end up getting mad.

it got it too, with all the addons but the alesis drum brain (not enough money), and just the drums (4 pads, 2 cymbals, 1 kick ass bass pedal) shipped the first week, and i could EASILY get 4x on the Train Kept A Rollin drum roll... but in 1-2 weeks ill be getting my 3rd cymbal, double bass pedals, and drum throne, just the drums were $343 with shipping, total $548 with shipping... but DEFINATLY worth it!

well, smart one, if you look at the cymbals on these drums u will see that its the same half of a symbol that u play on, they just put the rest of it there to make it look realistic. and u cant take these drums and use them as a back-up to say RB2 is better than GH4, cuz when comparing the 2 games, we compare the GAME, not the extras that can be used with it. so point is, GH4 drums are better than RB2 drums
