  • Seriously with the Fleet banner?

  • George, it's bob anderson. Rebecca sounds great and so do you man. That is one of my favorite songs. Man.....we have to do something together again sometime. I have been working with Vince Falcone quite a bit for the last few years. We're doing the Philharmonic thing. Have a great Christmas.

  • I gave this song to Rebecca ( the lyrics and chord changes) back in the early

nineties. She gave me one of her charts in return. I first heard it with Nancy Wilson

and also Carmen McCrae. I knew she would sing one of the great renditions of

this song ever. Rebecca is truly one of the all time best.

  • GREAT song too!! Music, Lalo Schifrin, lyric, Gene Lees.

I associate it with Nancy Wilson (her great "Lush Life" record), but also Stan Getz and Tubby Hayes used play all hell out of it.

  • @ColmOSullivanRed ...the lyric, quite profound, is about an inter-racial love.

  • I love Rebecca...she sings from her heart...she sings it right. yes.

  • I know this song from a Carmen McRae album. Of course, Rebecca nails it as she always does. She's one of the best, and woefully too little known.

  • The woman strike a beautiful balance between jazz and soul. This just how jazz songs should be expressed. Great.
