  • haha honestly this pleasanton is great! go panthers/dons! and id take tullys over starbucks anyday (:

  • i think craptown is livermore

  • Crapville? did he mean Livermore?

  • Pleasanton is a great town to live in but i find it funny that all the teenagers either A. do drugs, or B. do sports for AMADOR!!!!! or that other school. And once the kids get to high school all they care about is getting out of pleasanton. and they want to leave for the stupidest reasons 2. oh the cops are always on my case( stop selling or doing drugs and they won't be on your case :D)

  • Please join my Facebook group "Give Craig Ferguson an Emmy for The Late Late Show!!" ;)

  • ......the jokes aren't always that funny but he's has the best delivery of any comedian!

  • OMG! Wait til the end...oh Frank, lmao...Craig's the best!

  • say, i live in pleasanton!

  • Wow his show was so much brighter back then.

  • "a neon sign for the closed diner" jajaja

I love craig ...he is brilliant!! very very funny

  • oh AND THERE IS a starbucks haha right on main st. AND down right past amador lol

  • yeah... but that place is outside downtown where main st. turns into sta. rita road :)

  • san ramon is better

  • @feld282 San Ramon is ghetto

  • There is a Togos downtown, i have eaten there.

  • @39029

The Togos is right at the end of down town pretty much after you cross the bridge

  • Hah my first thought to Crapville was Livemore. But I suppose Dublin is a close second.

  • i wanna go to the rose hotel, i always see it, but never been in it

  • I live in Pleasanton, and Its an amazing place to live. Its the richest mid size city in the USA! :)

  • Wait that Means I live in Crapville..... at least I don't live in Fresno those Frezzy bastards.

  • lol i live in fresno, and it does suck!

  • YEAH!! I live in pleasanton! WOOT!

  • Craig Ferguson >>>>>>>>>>>>>> David Letterman

David Letterman Sucks at his show.Craig Rocks!

  • lol. this is awesome. cant wait to see him here when he does comedy shows again in 5 months. lol...gay nineties pizza is good but too ...squished and claustrophibic lol

  • This is so funny. Can't believe he's complaining about Starbucks not being there! So many better choices.

Wonder if his reference to "Craptown" is Dublin or Livermore?

  • No Starbucks in my tiny hometown either. Then again, my home town is WAAAAAAY smaller than Pleasanton with only about 100 people livnig there (if even that many). We don't have a single store in the town. Craig would go insane. XD

  • Murphy's Paw, Gourmet Works, Studio 7........the best corner on Main Street!

  • There's that one patch of chain stores right across the street from gay 90's with the cold stone, high tech burrito and tully's

  • wow Pleasanton, CA!! I lived there for a year!

  • OMG im from san ramon!!! right next door!!

  • haha i loveeee pleasantonn.

    at times. lol.

  • Pleasanton ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I grew up in Pleasanton- left in '76. Great town. Have returned many times since. Can't wait to get back hopefully permanently!!! Go Dons!!!

  • GO DONS!!

  • @avchris nespor

  • I grew up in P-Town from 1963 and on....what a great place to grow up back then. The town was only a few thousand when I moved there, but it still has a great feel. GO AMADOR! I played on a few championship football teams while I was there - a great bunch of teammants! And I had the honor of being part of one of the best rock bands, Southend.

  • WoW! I love living in P-TOWN! :D It's so nice living in a community like this, and downtown in awesoome! GO PANTHERS/DONS! ^_^

P.S. We have many starbucks in the city, just not downtown. :-)

  • GO TO THE MEADOWLARK DAIRY

BEST SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM OF YOUR LIFE

    downtown pleasanton :)

  • C.F. sir,

Thanks for the great reveal of my hometown.

Small town America thrives in California.

My sisters, brothers, and I are very thankful to have grownup in P-town.

The cruise down Main and many warm summer nights helped inspire American Graffiti.

    Sincerely, Rick

P.S. Have you partaken of our local sport of ice-blocking? You may find it interesting.

  • hahaha yay for pleasanton lived there since 94 wh00t

i go downtown all the time!

  • Living here in Pleasanton now for 11 years, i can tell you from personal experience that the Shh-milton IS right by the damn freeway!!! and what were they thinking when they allowed the freeway committee (or whatever) to expand the darn overpass. 580 to 680 to 580 to 680 MY GOODNESS!!!! Go Falcons! Maddens are the Frosh coaches and I can't wait to get into high school! oh, and GO HUSKIES (Hart)..lol...and go OBAMA!!!!

  • Lived in P-town since '79... Some of us know the before and after of what he's describing!

    Foothill Class of '89 baby!

  • Whoo hoo. I live in P-Town... but now that Gay Nineties got taken over the pizza is crappy D=

But Tullys is better than Starbucks =P

  • Pleasanton may, admittedly, have a better small town (although ours is improving), but Livermore is much more diverse and historic. We also have like, seven Starbucks.

    SUCK IT, FOOTHILL.

    (Kidding.)

  • I grew up and live in Pleasanton currently. Amazing small town charm for a population of 68,000. Graduated Amador Valley Class of 96.

  • No kidding? I was class of '96 as well! :)

    What's your name?

  • Jon LaBarge

  • Sheesh, Jon. :)

  • crapville=livermore byaaaa. pleasanton sucks anyway

  • i live in Pleasanton.

  • Is it just me or does Craig look a bit like Al Pacino here with the way his hair is styled. He is just tooooooooo funny. Love him.

I'm gonna have to see him live.

  • its true he does look a bit like al pacino

  • Theres now a starbucks 5 blocks from downtown. THANKS CRAIG!!

  • ferguson rocks

  • Craig: check this annual Pleasanton item.... the annual Highland Gathering & Games:

    here's a sample: watch?v=ZvOvnTJzkvI&fmt=18

  • Tell him about the Highland Games on Labor Day... THAT's when Craig should be there!!

  • awesome. People stop it with the rude comments. If you don't want to see it then don't. I really admire Craig. He's stinking cool!

Thanks for posting again. Don't let all these negative comments get you going. LOL

  • try the dairy in Ptown...

its like the best ice cream EVER

    pleasanton rocks

  • true that

  • I WORK AT THE DAIRY

    you rock.

and yes it is the best ever :)

  • pleasanton is sick but this monologue sucks. i bet ferguson hasnt even been to pleasanton he just got his writers to do something on a small city

  • I don't know.

Craig's monologues don't seem "written" to me. Parts do, but when he starts on a story, he really goes off like it's a speech he's memorized.

Good point, tho. All opinions are welcome! :)

  • ROFL I live here. Oy Craig Ferguson knows of P-town? Ha! Chris Brady was born here too.

  • i wish i lived in pleesentown

  • I love it. Pleasanton is rarely mentioned, no matter how awesome it is here. I'm gonna get my friends and go to everywhere he mentioned... again... xD

  • hey, i live in crapsville...we like to call it fremont....but eh...

  • no crapsville is danville. oh well. pleasanton is pretty sick.

Jack in the Box is the hang out spot

  • real coffee drinkers drink Peet's!!

  • now that's just pathetic...

  • i just moved from "ptown" to virginia. used to hate that place but i hella miss it

  • lol Pleasanton rocks i love living here.

  • i livee in pleasanton, and went to every sppot he talked aobut today, including the starbucks in safeway

  • I lived a block from Safeway across from Amador. I used to LIVE inside Safeway and would go there at the most ungodly hours to get stuff. :)

  • We do have a Starbucks...it is inside the Safeway store.

  • Yeah, but he was talking about Downtown.

Downtown, there's a Tully's...which confuses me because coffee is coffee and Tully's is just as good. I guess some people just really like Starbucks.

There's a Starbucks next to Hollywood Video on Santa Rita and, strangely, one right around the corner IN the Safeway...

  • Ya, I love it. The two Starbucks are like 50 paces from each other. Same parking lot. But then, we in P-town need the two Starbucks to make up for the lack of a Starbucks in downtown.

  • Damn right. I don't get the Starbucks logic...I know people don't want to wait for their overpriced coffee but having two stores within 100 yards of one another? LOL...

  • Im sending this to my friends in Pleasanton. It's a riot!

  • the theme song is so lame but yet cool.

  • the part w/ shmilton and going back and forth from jail was hilarious

  • "The CBS corporation is...YOUR FRIEND." LMAO.

  • crazy i used to live in pleasanton and now i live in fresno
