In India, even good music is marred with glitzy videos where you watch girls in skimpy dresses and suggestive dance moves. The beauty of music is lost on the way. "pretty dumb" is a harsh word, we do have lots of talent but it isnt publised prpoerly. The voices are good but they are not given enough good songs and also direction from senior artists. This song is one of the best because it has the backing of a pakistni legend, Nayyara Noor, our young singers need that kind of support. But not everything is good talent in Pakistan, have you ever heard Rabbi Pirzada? I wont say anymore, the name is enough to make me puke!!

There were a few good songs/singers during that period....a few songs of Sajjad Ali, Nayyara Noor were picking up during that period. But todays songs are more commercialized, more emphasis is on young girls/boys, fashion and the like and not on the real soul of the song. But I am still proud of seeing Pakistanis competing with the rest of the world in music. Pakistanis keep up the good work!!!!!
