viper had a 116 trap time, and the camaro had a 115. on a highway pull the viper would be a little faster IMO, probably because its a stick and the camaro was an auto.

It's funny...That F-Body was modified, and that Viper was stock. Why not a fair match perhaps a modified Viper VS a modified Camaro. Besides, Camaros are just for poor people who can't afford a Vette.
what you're forgetting is that us "poor people" are taking cars that look a lot better, paying 1/6th of what viper owners are paying, and often time even less than that, and making them look stupid for wasting their money just like this video... and with longtube headers and drag radials, that takes the vipers ET's down QUITE a bit... its not a stock viper
vipers from the factory are supercars, camaros are not. its a v10 with at least 500hp and weighs less. of coarse the camaro wouldnt beat it stock. its pretty cool a car that you can get for 10k, put about 5k into, will smoke an 80k car and still get better gas millage.
You can pay w.e for an rt-10 and it still wont be as fast as a maro. and then if you really want a snake eater buy a vette they are still cheaper than vipers lmao. if vipers are so affordable how come i never see them around? none of the dodge dealers in my town even have them...
ass handed? That was a close enough race to call on driver skill and shifting...half the cost? I can find an RT/10 on ebay for 35 grand...and I'm sure that camaro is running 25+

Viper had long tube headers and drag radials. My car might be modded, but I'm still at 347 cubic inches, far from 488 cubic inches...
btw, my car passes emissions and I've driven it from Cali to NY at 25 mpg ; )
