  • it's pronounced kay-po not cap-oh

  • @TheChocorooms ...mmm, I might have to disagree on this one.

  • @playgtrcouk no no guys. it's definitely ka-POW!

  • @TheChocorooms Yeah I would have to disagree too. The word originates from the Italian Caposastra and should be pronounced cap-oh.

  • @TheChocorooms Depends where you're from.

  • @TheChocorooms depends on where you are.. internationally, it's both.

  • I use my capo to produce similar low tunings like Drop Bb and C standard

  • should i use capo when im tapping?

  • you could use it if you wanted to. some guitarists use a slightly different tool similar to a capo to dampen the open strings from resonating, when they use both hands for tapping. look at Stanley Jordan or Jennifer Batten for examples.

  • i dont see why you couldn't... capo is to transpose note the easier way, tapping is your eprsonal fingering style...but it depends where you put teh capo, cuz when you are tapping, you dont want the strings to be too close to the fret otherwise it would sound crappyy and sloppy...lol
