Well The dub wasn't that bad... And it was ADV films that was doing the dubbing so had it been done it wouldn't have ended up like mew mew power.

I was so depressed and I do agree that the voices don't match, but I know my mom won't know the difference cuz she will watch anime but refuses to watch it (japenese with english subs) apparently the subs bug her and so the japanese voices. I would love all those merchandise they show. SO KAWAII !!!!!!!

Well when you think about it, it's a musical anime, so it just wouldn't be right to leave songs in Japanese, especially the insert songs. Honestly, it annoys me when and english dub leaves insert songs in Japanese, it just doesn't make sense.

This is an old trailer from 2004 back when ADV had the license. MM is NOT RECLICENSED FOR 2009. Thanks to isearchforfullmoons for emailing ADV Films about the trailer, they quickly responded back recently stating this:

"Hello, There are no plans at this time to release Mermaid Melody.

ADV Customer Service"

So everyone, please get the message around that this isn't relicensed for 2009 and this trailer is an old one. We need to stop the rumors about this being relicensed.

I'm not mad...Sorry if it seemed like I'm getting moody. I just want to figure out the truth and clear the rumors. I don't like it when we get our hopes up and then we all get devestated to figure out it's not true. According to this recent email two Sundays ago it just seems that ADV won't be doing it. Maybe they still are in talks with another company, as it seemes this dub does exsist from what we see here.

I just love this show to death. ^_^ I really want it to be licensed.

It does actually- 52 episodes in the first season plus 39 in the second season, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pure- making that 91. It just makes it over 90 :D I guess ADV was (or is now) thinking about releasing the entire show.
