Supercharged '99 996 C4. LN Engineering rebuild and TPC Racing tune. Shooting for 500+ at the wheels.

How much did it cost you to get to race at Daytona?

$1000 for students or $500 for instructors for the 3 day event which included several meals and such. I'm in instructor, the video is of the instructor's group. The track does not rent to many car clubs, it's a rare opportunity so they can charge a lot. It was worth it.

Were the windows open?

Partially open. You get a booming cavitation at about 140 in an R8 with the windows fully open, so I cracked them both a few inches. This track lets you run with them fully up if you want to.

Looks like you had a blast. Wish I had come back this year. Would have been a great time to collect on that ride you offered me at RA and Barber. Think I need something faster than a TT berore I return to Daytona however. JP
