When we won the champions league in 1999 and 2008 there was no disputing we were the best in Europe because we had also proved it domestically. What kind of team wins the champions league when they've lost more premierleague games than Bolton wonderers, Middlesboro etc...and lost 19in all competitions and haven't even won their own league for (then) 15years (now 20). Doesn't make any sense.
