iam from the uk and have been to russia on holiday and i was shocked at the amount of children and adults that were homeless it was heartbreaking i mean some of the children were about 8 years old its crazy a lot of them were sniffing glue and paint i didnt give them money but i did buy some mcdonalds and handed them out there were lots of young children in the subways sleeping on the floor and people were just walking by like they were nothing so sad.

This boy lives near my house in the dump ... his is doing some work for local church just for food ....

There are many people in russia who live the same way ...

In russia it is really bad for homeless people because the winter here is very cold.

Tell that to the children and elderly starving and freezing to death. A solution is needed, not discussion on "How it happened". Everything begins with one person. See a problem? Try to fix it on a personal level. I see a boy that needs help. I can help the boy. I can't help them all. That's where you and the rest of the world comes in! Help one off the street and you've saved many!

@PiusXXVI I explained because others on this posted asked the quesiton. You obviously don't understand sustainable development. I understand your good cause, but please be diplomatic in your efforts. To fight a disease, you can't just prescribe a medicine and hope it goes away-you have to find the cause. You assistance is only a sort-term solution and not sustainable. I appreciate the efforts of any and everyone who helps only a little. But this is not sustainable. I'm a scientist-not a blogger!
