p.s. - the shaft comes right down from a room near the top (you didn't light it, there's a torch placed there) and the "break bricks here" sign creates a shortcut back onto the passage system (which you came in from sort of sideways). It's not a trap, you are just phenomenally lucky.

@EpicRealms You should've connected all the jukebox redstone switchers together to open a new area with another dungeon (other than the nether one.) one that needs all the disc found in order to activate.
