erm a lot of techno does originate from japan, but alot of popular techno music comese from america too. dont you get it moodapiller? "you cant win"! im on ShiroKageryu's side as i love pokemon, so what? just because someone likes something different doesnt mean that they should be antagonised over it! infact the worlds most popular games come from japan (pokemon being the 2nd of nintendo's).

What's the difference between "Anime" and "anime?" In the English language we capitalize the first letter of a word if it's a title noun or the first letter in a sentence ha ha. Don't worry about it. I guess everyone believes they have a destiny of sme sort, but these guys... it's ALL they talk about! Every day I have to hear about this Sora kid and beating badguys and the sword of light and time traveling and crap, and it pisses me off!

Electro/techno/trance/etc is still music since it is still a composition of notes in certain pitches, beats, rhythms, etc.

Guilty Gear isn't an anime since there is no animated series for it. It's a video game. Just like there's a Devil May Cry video game, and a Devil May Cry anime. There's a difference. "Hotoka" is not an anime, it's a song by Juno Reactor. "Rocky Mountain Way" is not an anime, it's a classic rock song by Joe Walsh.
By definition, "anime" is "japanese animation" which neither of these are. It perplexes me as to how you came to this conclusion.
