I had the privilege to learn from Go Go Amy & Bonnie Voyage when they came to Houston in 2010 for their Pin Up Girl class. I absolutely loved it! not only for the makeup but for the photo shoot as well and getting to know them. And so I purchased this DVD right away... it is fantastic!

Just read my post&talk about typo's!! Sorry! Thanks for the info. I've always loved the 40's & dabbled in the fashions a little bit but now I've also started Lindyhopping & found myself really getting in to the whole thing. I've started putting my hair up for work and dressing the part. The funny thing is that even tho it stands out as not the norm, I get loads of compliments from both men & women, not because I'm gorgeous or anything but because its so feminine and smart.

I watched the commercial video for this product posted by StudioEast here on YouTube, and I was immediately drawn to it. Eventhough, listening to the girls talking felt kind of.. like they we're reading right of the script and it was a little stiff - but in spite of that I feel the content in the actual video is too good and too cute to be able to pass up! And after seeing this nice review of yours I'll definitely have to consider getting it! :)

It's interesting that you say that about the 'messy' makeup look! I noticed that in the preview video but thought maybe it was just me being picky or it was just filmed for the preview!

pin up modeling is very cute but i like the vintage pin up like not too much makeup because now i see pin ups today with wayy too much makeup which thay look like more rockabilly but more natural like how u do your looks !!!! but it all depends on the person!!! :) Good video!

@carolcarol92 Vintage pin ups actually do wear a lot of makeup. But the makeup is usually focused on the eyes and red lipstick. I think most modern pin up girls represent that look prett well. :)
