well, that's true, the zune is more creative and pretty..BUT!!! have fun having to buy everything on your zune. On an ipod I was able to rip my whole almost 300 cd collection.

Um your allowed to rip CD's On Zune + ON the Zune Software Just Pay $15 = Unlimited Downloads + 10 Free Songs Per Month (And On The 10 Songs I Mean FOREVER) Thats Why im staying on zune. so in other words $15/mo youll be able to download all the cd's without doing work ;)

I might switch to a zune one day just to try it out, but the unlimited downloads thing, so you don't get to keep all the songs you got from the unlimited downloads? Can I get album artwork and stuff and edit the songs? Can I insert all the stuff I already downloaded from torrents? Are there really underground artists on the zune marketplace? Because I like itunes because they sometimes have demos from my favorite bands, but the price is too much. I mainly use itunes to submit podcasts to it.

ipod allows unlimited downloads for FREE(see that? its just over there <---). you can rip your whole music collection from as many computers as you want where the zune you can only do it from one without erasing the current collection,

Yah. I have a bunch of CDs I can rip. Its also cool that itunes lets you play the music on your computer.

Actually all you have to do is put all your music that you back up on a flashdrive then delete the folder called zune in my music, then plug in your zune, all your music will be on your zune when you sync it next time without removing any music from the device itself.

can i download mp3's directly to zune from projectplaylist and other free mp3 sites like that? also can i sync music files from windows media player to the zune? in other words, can i still use projectplaylist for free music or do i have to start paying? XD

You need to have the Zune software to sync it. But it will sync any music files you have. mp3, wmv, and lots of other file types.
