From technique, feelings and tone, definitely Soyeon the BEST, no.1 by far..leaving all her member behind..I hope CCM give her more vocal training for high notes.. no.2 - Hyomin with her crispy clear voice, no.3 - Eunjung little bit surpass Jiyeon because she can hit high notes but her voice is ordinary..Jiyeon is a soft, pretty voice that needs little power..Boram, Qri and Hwayoung need to improve to get to other members level~

Her voice has a rich, warm tone and a wide range. Yes, she can do cute, but she proven that she can do strong and powerful as well. Name another idol with a voice like Eunjungs?

The only exceptions are songs like TTL and Cry Cry, both of which sit comfortably in her range and have milder choreography. Soyeon has a great voice, no doubt about it, but she at least partially relies on the back track for a lot of T-aras promotions -- most recently Lovey Dovey. Eunjung may not have a strong lower register, but her range partially overlaps with Soyeons.
@chellopeople08 I judged EJ's performance if she can't carry her part well and is lacking, that's her problem. I never said she lacked lines I said Soyeon & Hyomin gets most of the singing lines and it's true...back in the AFA days till today. SoMin still sang and sing more than EJ. So by that, I think each member singing capability was already clearly & acurately recognised by CCM. EJ took principally charge of the main rapping and hitting high notes here and there.

I have no problem with you liking Soyeon voice more, so I don't see why you should care so much I think Eunjung is a better singer? Both are great, end of story.

Crap in Eunjung all you want, but she has more than proven herself to be a strong and talented vocalist.

It's great for her she's the best performer when it comes to live perfs. I'm happy to know she's recognised and gets a good amount of lines.

Boram & Jiyeon were awful. Soyeon is sick, she's struggling, her voice tend to get very nasal and Hyomin had to take over her belting part. Eunjung didn't sound good at all. It's unsteady and screechy, she's screaming her high notes instead of singing them. I don't know what the big deal is with some fans. Soyeon who's far from her best, here, still sounds better, thanks to her technique and her tone. Soyeon was still the best here, followed by Hyomin who made a little mistake.

Eunjung's high notes were awesome, it brought out lots of emotions. She sang the loudest, but that doesn't equate it to screaming. I'm here wondering how great your singing is, because while this perf may not be perfect, it definitely sounds really great to me.

Well, after all, she was being trained as an actress instead of a singer. So I think she's sings really well, and I'm amazed she can actually hit the high notes that even Soyeon can't.

Soyeon seems to have breathing problems here and can't help but sound really nasal. She wasn't able to sing her part from 2:32 to 2:41 because of the belting, she couldn't do it at that time Hyomin did it, took over, in all their perfs of this song from October09. She's struggling, here. Of course, it wasn't a disaster, I enjoyed it but I saw Soyeon, Hyomin & Eunjung do better than this.

They simply made the bad singers of T-ara sing first to let the others carry the song and then there's a sick a Soyeon and Hyomin who had to interchange some of theirs.

There were 5 members originally: Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Jiae and Jiwon. They recorded this song (which is actually an OST) before Jiae and Jiwon decided to leave. After the 2 left, CCM added Boram, Soyeon and Qri. T-ara debuted as 6 members, and they rerecorded this song for their album.
In 2010, they added another member Hwayoung. So currently, there's 7 members in T-ara.

@RicoDaDude They sort of were added tgt. At first T-ara has 5 members. But 2 of them left, Jiae and Jiwon. So CCM added in Boram, who was a solo singer. They added Soyeon next and lastly Qri. But the 3 were all added b4 they debuted. Qri is in the Lies MV. She had a dinner date with the male lead and was given a bouquet of flowers =D

But my guess is that Qri's vocals wasn't very good at the start and not suited to ballad styled songs, so the company didn't give her any solo parts (She's improved alot since then). @RNoodle86, Okay, so what don't you understand about subjective opinions? You think Soyeons is the best and congrats others agree with you, but I don't and others agree with me. Soyeon has the position of main vocalist, but Hyomin or Eunjung could easily hold the same title and if we are looking at line distribution Hyomin (a former model fyi) is often confused for main vocalist. Crap in Eunjung all you want, but she has more than proven herself to be a strong and talented vocalist.

@chellopeople08 If they could easily hold it, Soyeon wouldn't be even there since she's isn't an original member. CCM needed someone better to take charge is all. Hyomin has many lines in cute or catchy songs like Lies, YaYaYa, RP, LD etc, that suit her voice the most. That's not surprising nor negligible since she's the second best singer. It's great for her she's the best performer when it comes to live perfs. I'm happy to know she's recognised and gets a good amount of lines.

I can understand you just not liking Eunjungs voice, but to belittle her vocal talent despite all the evidence otherwise? Obviously, there's a bias issue here. At this point, Eunjung has more then proven herself and I'll just let her talent speak for itself. Eunjung is a great singer/performer and if you can't see that I pity you--you're missing out.

Boram & Jiyeon were awful. Soyeon is sick, she's struggling, her voice tend to get very nasal and Hyomin had to take over her belting part. Eunjung didn't sound good at all. It's unsteady and screechy, she's screaming her high notes instead of singing them. I don't know what the big deal is with some fans. Soyeon who's far from her best, here, still sounds better, thanks to her technique and her tone. Soyeon was still the best here, followed by Hyomin who made a little mistake.

@RNoodle86 LOL? Jiyeon sounded really good to me. I didn't know Soyeon was sick, and I'm interested to know how you knew. But I agree Soyeon sounded the best. Eunjung's high notes were awesome, it brought out lots of emotions. She sang the loudest, but that doesn't equate it to screaming. I'm here wondering how great your singing is, because while this perf may not be perfect, it definitely sounds really great to me.

@looty108 I love T-ara but everytime Eunjung does high notes, she sounds screechy, she always raise her voice to hit them, it's very unpleasant for me to hear. She has no vibrato, her part doesn't sound melodious. Her technique isn't that good. I love her but she's better as a rapper, imo.

@RNoodle86 Yeah, I agree that Eunjung's technique isn't as good compared to Soyeon's. But I personally like Eunjung's high notes, and I respect your viewpoint that it does not sound pleasant to you.
Well, after all, she was being trained as an actress instead of a singer. So I think she's sings really well, and I'm amazed she can actually hit the high notes that even Soyeon can't.
And I fully agree with you that she's a great rapper. XD

Soyeon seems to have breathing problems here and can't help but sound really nasal. She wasn't able to sing her part from 2:32 to 2:41 because of the belting, she couldn't do it at that time Hyomin did it, took over, in all their perfs of this song from October09. She's struggling, here. Of course, it wasn't a disaster, I enjoyed it but I saw Soyeon, Hyomin & Eunjung do better than this.

@TheTsemay The 1st version of this song isn't the problem since Jiyeon got the same part in both versions and Eunjung sings all her lines. They simply made the bad singers of T-ara sing first to let the others carry the song and then there's a sick a Soyeon and Hyomin who had to interchange some of theirs.

There were 5 members originally: Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Jiae and Jiwon. They recorded this song (which is actually an OST) before Jiae and Jiwon decided to leave. After the 2 left, CCM added Boram, Soyeon and Qri. T-ara debuted as 6 members, and they rerecorded this song for their album.
In 2010, they added another member Hwayoung. So currently, there's 7 members in T-ara.

woahhh i like this!!! i hear the mp3/track song and it sounds very different... if you listen to it you won't hear soyeon's voice *strange* but clearly hear eunjung's voice *soft and powerful* i thought it was a member's voice from Davinchi... well i can hear soyeon's pretty voice but i must say her hairstyle was weird kekee but i love her so much!!!

@RicoDaDude They sort of were added tgt. At first T-ara has 5 members. But 2 of them left, Jiae and Jiwon. So CCM added in Boram, who was a solo singer. They added Soyeon next and lastly Qri. But the 3 were all added b4 they debuted. Qri is in the Lies MV. She had a dinner date with the male lead and was given a bouquet of flowers =D

But my guess is that Qri's vocals wasn't very good at the start and not suited to ballad styled songs, so the company didn't give her any solo parts (She's improved alot since then). She did sing the chorus Lies.

i appreciate hwayoung being added. i like eunjung as the rapper, but i prefer her as main vocal as well. with 6 members, she's the main rapper. with hwayoung in the bandwagon, eunjung can now sing. tho i hope at times that they also give her rap parts. well, you can't have both =/

@janelleness hmmm.... have you ever heard about their new album "black eyes" ? even though they added hwayoung, eunjung still rarely sing. there almost all the songs sung by soyeon, jiyeon, and hyomin. except for the chorus part in "o my god", eunjung's role just sing "ah ah" etc in background and maybe 1 line in each songs, very little when compared with their first album. and with hwayoung added now, eunjung can't rap as much as before. so now her role much more like qri and boram. wtf CCM

i dont get why they added her cause when they make a song wihtout rap, just like cry cry, she has no use at all....she just dances...and what irritates me is that they put her in the front when she's so big while they put boram, the shortest one in the back....why not put her in the back?

this is the time that T-ara are still a ballad group and Boram and Soyeon are still a new member of their group they are the ones who replaced Jiae and Jiwon originally T-ara are composed of Jiae ( Leader at that Time ) , Jiwon , Eunjung , Jiyeon , Hyomin . and if you noticed that Eunjung were the 1st followed by Jiyeon then Hyomin are the current leader now of T-ara well sinced they are the original members of T-ara
