  • This dough is mainly for steaming. I have a recipe for a basic bun dough (like the pork filled) for baking to which I'll send u the link :)

  • No, I was actually born and raised in NJ. But I moved around a bit and lived in the south for a while, so I have quite an interesting mixed breed of an accent. I am working on changing it; I know sometimes Im a bit hard to understand :)

  • Great video and the outcome looks yummy, definitely gonna have to try this out. If it's not too much trouble may I ask if you know what sort of bread it is you often see in old chinese movies, kind of a soft white bread. It's all white and looks very moshy and soft, and delicious =)

  • I think you may be referring to just plain steamed mantou. There are many different versions, but when it's just steamed plain it is similar to what you describe. Thanks so much for watching :)
