I think this scene is particularly symbolic because it shows each of the wolf's dreams of paradise. Toboe wants his old master to be there, Hige wants his old wolf pack that he lost to be there, Tsume wants to just be free and hunt while Kiba believes that being with Cheza is paradise. It also shows that Kiba was the one most focused on their goal and with the least earthly ties. I love how deep this show is :)

I can't imagine how they could make a good movie from it. Sequels and movies made from series are usually disappointing anyway. The series is complete as it is, there is nothing more to add to it.

@utcakukac Not if they used the manga for material. They had a very open ending to the manga, with loooots of room for manipulation. I think it would be more interesting if they diverted from the anime anyway.

@utcakukac It's, eh, decent. VERY short, but it takes a different route from the anime, which was nice. I actually think the anime came out first in this case. Some of the lines from the anime are almost exactly the same in the manga, which made me laugh, but it wasn't SO similar that it was boring. It's really hard to find all of the chapters ( called "gropes" for the series ) online, but the first 5 should be easy enough to locate. It's been licensed, so lots of sites are taking them down.
