Music Lovers, everywhere truly appreciate "Creativity and True Individualized Talent" what a breathe of fresh air that soothes the soul's need for real music!
@jihadsoup You should learn a bit more about Peter. He pays utmost respect to the Isley Bros as well as the other R&B groups whose songs he grew up on and covers. He's an extremely nice and down to earth guy who relates well to his audiences. He tours with other great jazz musicians and dedicated his last hit song to Wayman Tisdale. Wayman made 'Get Down On It' his own too. No one is dissing the original artists, these songs are being kept alive and are labours of love for these musicians.
Cool. Interesting take on the old classic. Jazz guitar to cover the vocal melody. I wonder what it would sound like with another guy on a strat playing Ernie Isley's signature licks behind Peter.
This song was originally done by the Isley Brother's, so let's not forget the soul influence they had/have on many artists today. Just try'n to keep it real.
Looks like 3 people got it wrong again. Great job! thanks for the post.
