  • Your shouldent put collars on your bunnies.

  • holy cow your polish rabbit is huge...im a newer polish rabbit owner and shes about 4 months and she is wayyyyyy smaller. how long did it take for your rabbit to get that big.

  • I have a baby polish rabbit and she is adorable, but sadly we don't have enough space for her to run around, but at least we have a large safe balcony, we can keep our big ay pen there so she has her excersice

  • That was wonderful, thank you for sharing. I know from experience that bunnies make the most amazing pets. I'm so glad that yours is an indoor bunny.

  • That is adorable!!! I have a polish black rabbit and i want her in the house but my parents wont let me keep her indoors. :( This was a great video though!!!! Love the mint part :)

  • @Fashionrules1011,

I have the same problem. My 11 polish rabbit's have to be kept outside too. :/

  • It's wonderful to see another person who has discovered what amazing pets house trained bunnes can be! Rabbits are not given enough credit. My bunnies are perfect too. Thank you for posting.

  • Of course chocolate isnt recommended. As with dogs. But im sure the rabbit has been getting small amounts for a long time so her body has come accustomed to it. just like with my dog. She started out with small amounts and my vet says she is healthy as a horse.

  • Would you like to kill your rabbit, stupid bitch. Please do not disrespect your pets, before adopting ANY pet, please take care to research proper foods for them. I personally owned a rabbit for 9 years and thought it was common knowledge that rabbits cannot have chocolate.

    That is all.

  • good puppy

  • my polish rabbit Spots do those stuff and show off that she can set the blanket

  • Lady, I was just in a pet store looking at rabbits yesterday, they gave me a handout of "do's and don'ts" and giving them chocolate was a definite DON'T. I don't care if it likes it or not, chocolate is toxic to rabbits just like avacados is to parrots, I'm amazed you wouldn't find this info out before owning a pet.

  • Rabbits shall NOT HAVE CHOCOLATE!

  • whoa this is great. my rabbit tends to wander elsewhere and never enjoys hanging with me

  • I have a 6 month old POlish Blue named Luna, and I wish I could house train her like that. COuld you give me some tips or pointers and tell me how you did it? The only 'indication' that I would be able to train her is that She always follows me around in my room. SHe is only allowed in the basement and my room because we have to Mini Schnauzers that would happily eat her for dinner. Thanks so much!

  • cute bunny but chocolate is a no no....he looks plenty of loved though. i have one to. and his favorite treats are bananas. he also pushes doors and even pushed the screen right off the lace on the screendoor so he can come in and out of the house as he pleases. lol

  • Your rabbit goes OUT of your house?? Woah. I don't Trust my Little Bunny THAT much. She would run away or get eaten by a hawk.

  • haha yeah. he loves to lay in the grass or dig holes in the soft dirt in my garden. he never runs away. he goes to my neighbors all the time but always comes back. even checks the door from time to time to see if its closed.

  • It is bad to give animals chocolate, but small amounts of dark chocolate are usually fine. In fact can help with respitory problems in rats.

  • geez you guys are bossy know-it-alls. She obviously takes great care of the bunny. He looks happy. So calm down with the little piece of cookie.

  • thats adorable, my rabbit could never do that you are very lucky to have such a smart bunny

  • Same here... Although My rabbit usually follows me around my basement and my room, which are the two places that she is allowed to run loose.

  • don't feed rabbits chocolate or anything like that because they are like horses (can't be sick) so they will get real bad stomach ache and could kill them :( just saying cuz i dont think anyone wants their rabbit to die.....i have a blue rex called sapphire she had a friend called nibbler that died suddenly over night :'( (not from candy) :)

  • peppermint patties?

  • that's a huge polish rabbit, mine is only 3 months old, and its still really small

  • I have a 6 month old polish rabbit and she is tiny. When we got her as a 10 week old baby. she was only 1.25 pounds.

  • Chocolate IS a big no no for dogs & rabbits (and cats probably). Look into it lest you harm you beautiful pet.

  • chocolate is poison for animals yes. But a small amount wont hurt the pet, thought its not good for it.

  • :o

I want a dog bt im not allowed and now i really want a house trained rabbit bt ofcourse not allowed!

  • It is soooooo bad to feed candy to a rabbit! They have very rudimentary digestive systems and anything that isn't fresh fruit, leafy greens, or hay could send them into digestive stasis!

This woman needs immediate education on what proper rabbit care is.

  • There is no such thing as a Polish dwarf or a Netherland Poland. This rabbit looks like a Black Californian. It may get to be about 9 pounds or so. Polish rabbits, which I raise have a top weight of 4 pounds and have small ears-Less than 3 inches long- that stand up together, not open like scizzors. Go to the ARBA website to find out more about your breed.

  • What kind of training did you do? It must have been hard. When I trained my rabbit a little, when she was young, I had to do it every day or else she would forget. Now because of school I have lost track but essentials have sunk in. She understands "no", "stay" and "come here" I speak "no" and "stay" in a lower tone and "come here" in a higher tone so she knows low pitches as disappointment or warning. I put a video response on your video of my rabbit :D Again your rabbit is incredible! Congrats

  • I am choosing this rabbit breed because of the appearance andn size which I think is appealing to me

  • most polish rabbit's are a bit smaller than that, course mine is still young

  • thanks for that

  • have you found out which type of Polish it is yet, I am highly considering that specific breed of Polish rabbit

  • The best answer we have found from the owner is that it may be an American/English mix, but she is unsure. If you are considering this rabbit based on its behavior, I would say that is probably more based on the training than the breed.

  • @TheHeraldMailCompany So different breeds don't have behavior characteristings that distinguish them from other rabbits. I would like to adopt a 2nd rabbit and I want a super cuddy one as mine is not overly cuddly and I don't get enough rabbit love from her, lol.

  • @mszypul Do you mean temperment? Some breeds are more docile, some can be more agressive, and some are very lively. My experience runs with Britannica Petite/Polish Dwarf (see video response), Mini-Rex/Rex, and Blue Dutch. (They are all good choices) If you are looking for a "cuddly" Rexes or Lops would be a good start. But if I may say so, with rabbits, the more you give the more you get. They learn well from good experiences, and if they trust you that can make them cuddly! (continued

  • @Kousei13 (continued) As I was saying, if a rabbit really trusts you, they will let you cuddle...I sometimes would lay next to the rabbit on the floor, just looking, no touching, barely speaking...and one day, I did the same thing and eventually the rabbit is all laxed out, as if we were snoozing together...oh dear got carried away...You can type "rabbit temperment by breed" on google to get secondary opinions. ^_^ good luck. (unless you already found a bunny, have fun bonding!)

  • Are you sure it's polish, ears look much too long to be a polish and their eyes usually are bright red in colour

  • I'm just going by what I was told it was. I went to a website to try to compare this one to some others and though the ears looked a little long, it did bear a resemblance to the "Open Polish Best of Breed" winner. If you look where it says "about this video", there is a link to the story on our site. Within that story is a link to the APRC website.

    Thanks!

  • What specific breed of Polish is it? like is it american or Netherland Polish or Polish Dwarf

  • We aren't sure, but have contacted the owner. Hopefully, she will be able to tell us.
