Go Ryler! Yeah I just went through there again last Sunday. I couldn't believe it was winter! Except for I lost the front a couple of times in some shadowy wet patches. Hoo! Love the motard, slide 'em both!
awesome awesome video, when i make a video i make it in hopes of making people feel the way you made me felt by watching this. too cool scenery i'll get my epic days in sometime
First of your videos I've seen, and right away I was thinking, hey, this looks like New Zealand. Now I have to watch the rest of your posts! Where exactly is Woodcocks Road?
@MUNI743 Yep. New Zealand laws are pretty loose regarding mirrors. YOu often see cruisers with little tiny mirrors sticking out from the handlebars. Useless, but legal.
@KAPhotography1 Not really quick-release. Just some crappy ones I got at the dirt bike shop. Enough to be legal, but I found the stock ones got in the way of the camera. They come off in about 2min for the track.
That was an awesome vid!! I love your mounting idea. i saw it on the forum which led me to this vid. Im trying to see if I can mount mine like that but the front of my full face helmet seems to be a little pointier than yours. I also have the chesty, the mount it to my chest. I think you'd really like that. It would show the lean angle even more since it's not on your head. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but i have a sportbike so I don't know if the angle will be right.
Thanks Tone, but the leaning isn't just an effect! Mounting on the bike tends to produce the rolling squiggly lines on the video. Same with my previous ATC3K. I haven't tried it down on the forks though.
Thanks for the suggestion. I might try the ATC3K in various places on the bike and keep the Hero on the helmet.

Just some cheap ones from the dirt bike shop. They just clamp on to the handlebar. Enough to be legal, but not the best. Easy to take off & on.

I've been thinking about the chesty mount. It would be really good when I'm in dirt bike mode too.

Did you order from the US or get it in nz? If you got it from the US how much was postage and handling?
MantisJak 2 years ago
Nice quality, and v smooth riding. Your head stays horizontal all the time which is great technique, but takes away the leaning effect.
Any plans to try it attached to the bike
I did a few with the ATK cam att to frame slider.

The camera is mounted on the chin of my helmet, using one of the self-adhesive mounts that came with the kit.
I've rendered the video in mp4 format with Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
