This is my Pastor!!! I only want to say to those who say he is all about money, I have never seen anyone give the way he does to EVERYONE!!! His average giving to ministry anually is over 400,000 dollars, not to mention what he gives to people all the time. He gave away a Rolls Royce, gave away a Harley... Does anyone here read about what Paul went through after Jesus died. Nowhere in scripture did any godly man or women speak so much about being prosperous and rich. Some may have been but it was never the focus. It sounds to me like the Gospel of self instead of Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let's stop being obsessed with ourselves and wealth and start sharing the Gospel. Almost every one of the 12 apostles were killed for their faith. Is the Word being preached at all!! Everytime I see him or hear him he is talking about himself or telling some story that has nothing to do with the sermon. I could not go there Sunday after Sunday and not hear the word of God preached. Its hard for me to listen to him on The Word Network. I usually end up turning before its over.

Past experience can never be used to determine future occurances when dealing with people. people can change and grow. so if you have seen or heard this man talk about the wrong thing before than look at the fruit and what he talks of now. he is doing something right if there are thousands of members.

@phillysjewel Christ told that rich man to give away his possesions because the man was operating under the law, and boasted in his lawkeeping and righteousness. The bible says that all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags to the Lord, in Isiah. The disciples were not neccessarily on a payroll, but Judas was the one who was in charge of the money. If you are broke then you do not need a treasurer.
@phillysjewel Someone gives much should be rewarded with much and how much a pastor is paid when they are in right standing with the Lord is and Jesus is a reflection of how much they give and sacrifice for the good of God's people. I have seen how much my pastor has given up for us the partners and I believe he is in right standing with God so I also believe that if it is the will of God that he get a raise than he deserves every penny of it.

I only posted this video because I thought the story was funny. I happen to really like Pastor Freeman and his show on the Word Network. As for God giving only your NEEDS there are two scriptures that I'd like to share: 1st God said he'd give us what we NEED - Philipians 4:19 -But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
And he also said WANTS too: Psalm 37:4 - Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Romans 12-now if God wants our bodies then it is obvious that he wants all of us. it says it is reasonable to present BODY so presenting things other than the body must be further part of that.

2 Cor 9 was not tithes. Notice you never see the word tithing... Its talking about giving in general not tithes. Tithes mean 10%. Matt 23:23 was not a commandment to tithe, Jesus was simply pointing out that they tithed, but they left out more important matters OF THE LAW. ( which we do not live under, we live by grace) Acts was not a commandment to tithe. Romans 12 has nothing to do with giving tithes Luke 6:38 is not a commandment to tithe. In the story where he said I have no place to lay my head read the whole chapter... he was stating he had no place to rest in that city at that time. I'm pleased that he does preach what is written in the book. He's supposed to. I am speaking of what I heard him preach and it wasn't the word. He was bragging for an hour on HIS possessions. This is my Pastor!!! I only want to say to those who say he is all about money, I have never seen anyone give the way he does to EVERYONE!!! Some may have been but it was never the focus. It sounds to me like the Gospel of self instead of Gospel of Jesus Christ. Is the Word being preached at all!! Everytime I see him or hear him he is talking about himself or telling some story that has nothing to do with the sermon. I could not go there Sunday after Sunday and not hear the word of God preached. Its hard for me to listen to him on The Word Network. I usually end up turning before its over.

The bible says that all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags to the Lord, in Isiah. The disciples were not neccessarily on a payroll, but Judas was the one who was in charge of the money. Don't assume that everyone in the congregation possesses common sense to know that a holy lifestyle is a prerequisite for the blessings of God. I only posted this video because I thought the story was funny. I happen to really like Pastor Freeman and his show on the Word Network. As for God giving only your NEEDS there are two scriptures that I'd like to share: 1st God said he'd give us what we NEED - Philipians 4:19 -But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I don't have to argue the word. It speaks for itself. Preach holiness. I don't agree with the get rich quick, prosperity gospel. I am not against being proseprous. I'm against flamboyance and arrogance in the pulpit. Live saved. Preach the gospel. Preach the unadulterated gospel. Folks need to be saved. I'm more concerned about where I will spend eternity rather than how much I can attain. My hope is built on the righteousness of Jesus, not on the promises.

2 Cor 9 was not tithes. Notice you never see the word tithing... Its talking about giving in general not tithes. Tithes mean 10%. Matt 23:23 was not a commandment to tithe, Jesus was simply pointing out that they tithed, but they left out more important matters OF THE LAW. If God didn't like prosperity... and salvation was it... why are the streets of heaven made of gold and the gates of pearl... he couldve used concrete and steel. but NO he wants his children to live a life in abundance... OVERFLOW of EVERYTHING. Lord! It's amazing how ppl read what they wanna read and not the WHOLE thing! You can get God to do what you want him to do, he says it himself!! I love this man he is my pastor 1 church in 3 locations....Now with that said he never ever braggs just simply shares.. I f you take more time to hear his full sermons you will see that. This is a real man of God and lives by the book. Also teaches us to walk the same. We the full body are to be bless and have it all. Jesus was never broke or poor thats bad tradition. If he was poor why would the romans cast lots for his coat. Thats just one point. THIS IS MY PASTOR PLEASE RESPECT HIM!

I have seen plenty of Michael Freeman sermons, and I must say I have nothing against him.... but i have major contention with his false doctrines... Jesus was not rich my friend... In the story where he said I have no place to lay my head read the whole chapter... he was stating he had no place to rest in that city at that time. Jesus was made poor in righteousness so that we could be made righteous. Poor doesn't aways mean $.. if your sick your poor in health.. Lonely poor in friends. Jesus always referred to God as father except on the cross when God place all sin on him and turned his back THEN he was poor in righteousness. I hope this helps your understanding

The wealth of the wicked is lade up for who? US! So yes we are suppose to be VERY RICH! How can we reach the lost in all the world, feed the poor and preach the gospel if we poor too....makes no sense. Did Paul not say baptised in the Holy Spirit with the EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

I'm pleased that he does preach what is written in the book. He's supposed to. I am speaking of what I heard him preach and it wasn't the word. He was bragging for an hour on HIS possessions. I do have a right to speak on what Pastor Freeman was trying to deposit into MY spirit. The word prosper does not necessarily mean material gain and many preachers, including Freeman, do a poor job in distinguishing the difference.

I have a great church home with a pastor of integrity that preaches HOLINESS. Would not trade him for any other pastor in the world. I work tirelessly in the ministry. We do feed the homeless. When I saw this "man of God" in person, he stated that ppl who were giving $5 and $10 for the offering were always going to be broke and should be ashamed of themselves. Let me say this. I could care less about Mike Freeman's cars,houses and airplanes. If he is that shallow to where materialism dominates his life, so be it. My concern is with the abuse of God's ppl. I attended a service here in Bmore where Mike Freeman repeatedly talked down to the congregation. Called ppl "common folk" because we work 9-5. Everyone that preaches is not anointed nor a prophet. I discerned Dr Freeman's spirit and it is very carnal. I could care less how many jets,cars,homes,clothers.etc...you have. I need a fresh rhema word that will help me get through life w/o compromising my integrity. People need to learn how to live holy. My goal is heaven, not to be a millionaire.

I heard this so called preacher a week ago in Baltimore and it was a travesty to say the least. Spent about 45 mins describing how large his house was, how many jets his ministry owned, the number of cars he had, his designer suits, etc... Shame and a sin. He then began to collect an offering and had the audacity to walk around and inspect how much money ppl were giving. Nothing about holiness or living right. This prosperity mess is straight from hell.

Actually, I am very happy. My happiness is in the fact that I know and stand for the truth. Chicken is good, God is GREAT. I can comment on any video someone chooses to post on this worldwide site and that's what I did. And just because you do not agree with someone or share different beliefs, does not mean you are a hater or unhappy. The world would be boring if we all agreed on everything.
