this documentary is so biased towards anti-Lenin and anti- Bolshevism where are the right facts that the provisional government was useless and was not putting an end to the war!! also Lenin's April thesis which outlined the imperialistic policies of the the western nations..and the civil war by western countries that engulfed Russia in order to curtail the socialist cause to other countries

Wow, they really excluded a lot of pretty vital information about the February Revolution. And perhaps the provisional government WAS liberal, hence the massive ignorance of the wishes of the population, totalitarianism, and imperialist institutionalization. Had the provisional government remained in power, they would have likely become a nationalist military dictatorship like Germany.

"Nationalist" - Yes, Stalin did promote nationalism by reinstating the old military regalia of the Tsar. This is most often cited as one of the greatest causes of the Red Army's morale boost. They certainly couldn't have withheld that long without it.

"Military Dictatorship" - It is a Total-War oriented situation, and all nations involved in the war were in a similar situation. However, the Red Army was not 'in control' of the USSR - that was the party and the worker's councils.

They used that term in the European sense: free-market, small government, individual freedom. An European liberal is a moderate version of Ron Paul (though a liberal can also be a libertarian); an European liberal strongly opposes politicians as Nancy Pelosi, Reid, Obama, Barney Frank. Progressives in the USA hijacked this term to cover the final goal of their political strategy: big Government. An European liberal is what a conservative is supposed to be: pro-small Governement

@shurednichso Lenin was an opportunist who should have focused his revolutionary efforts in Germany or France in lieu of backwards Russia. Kautsky predicted the mess that was the USSR and Lenin gave capitalists plenty of ammo - Leninism was/is a perversion of Marx/Engels works. Russia was doomed to a world of shit without first having gone through a bourgeois democratic capitalist phase. You wont see that in this propaganda piece though :)
