@mynmyself it's definitely possible. depending on how glitchy you wanna get, you just slice a loop and assign it to map across the pads. At that point you can change the order. That's how I'm doing the jungle drums in the beginning of the track. I've sampled a break (dexter wansel), sped it up and then chopped it into 8th note chunks. after that I placed them on the right 8 pads. Hope that helped!

Hey Justin! mad skills man, just wanting to inquire about the MPC, I have been working on basic hip hop production and I was wondering if the sound of a system like the MPC has a different sound in comparison to the mashcine? if so, what would you recommend for a grittier raw sound?

@BlackJag92 the grittier sound is gonna go to the MPC. HOWEVER, the Maschine has 2 different "vintage" modes that simulate the SP1200 and the MPC60. So for the price of Maschine, you're actually getting 3 different sampling engines (1 Maschine and 2 MPCs)!

Should I invest in replacing all the parts (pads, pad sensors, some buttons, and 100 MB disk drive) or invest in Maschine? Can you still get that MPC swing and sample sound on the Maschine?
