I realized I misspoke in one part of the video - the portion showing resizing the oak tree. The "Smooth Gradients" control under the "Advanced" tab DECREASES edge definition when moved to the right. Tweaking it down, moving it to the left INCREASES edge definition. I don't want anyone confused about that.
The program can be downloaded for free in a limited trial version. There is a coupon code for a 40% discount until July 6th at the link in the description.
I like the way he increases texture (under the main options tab) to make edges more realsitic, then under advanced options, reduces the smooth gradients to make the edges less defined. Pointless?
Give someone an adjustment slider, and say hello to guesswork...I'll move it just a ted to 74, no make that 75. I don't think he got clue what he's doing.
That discount was good until July 6th of 2010. It is no longer in effect.
