Great story! This doesnt surprise me a bit; he is a true musician who is always willing to go out of his way for his fans. I just saw him in Madison, WI the performance was beyond words. He is the best artist Ive ever encountered.
I ended up missing his show in Chicago (I'd come all the way from Kansas City to see him)...was literally across the street eating dinner as I thought he was playing later that evening. I was devastated and went outside for a smoke and then decided to take a little walk around the outside of the venue to see if he was still around. He was! Told him my story, he graciously took pictures w/ me and then OFFERED to play me the song...he is truly awesome to his fans!!
